My investment objective has changed over the years. There are monies put into a trust annually. There are monies that used to be invested in higher risk stocks that are now in a more traditional income vehicle, and there are those that I take risk with.

The research paper seems to ignore the fact that people get older and die. It is more like an endowment mentality. I would rather see a report that told how to identify the best-performing four percent of listed stocks so I could invest in them.

Benjamin Graham, author of The Intelligent Investor, and mentor to Warren Buffett made over half of his fortune from one stock, GEICO. He once called it dumb luck, a decision based on decades of studying the market.

Bread and beer have many of the same ingredients, so one British brewery is cutting down on food waste by turning discarded loaves into delicious brews.

                          — Elon Musk, after SpaceX successfully launched its Falcon Heavy rocket (carrying a cherry red Tesla roadster) from Cape Canaveral, Fla. yesterday. David Bowie’s “Life on Mars” played at the end of the webcast.

P.S. I actually owned SpaceX stock in the early 90's when it was first developed to mine asteroids! Then Mr Musk bought it and took it private. LOL!
