TSLA, Fad or Wave of the Future?

I just bought a few shares of TSLA prior to Elon Musk's big announcement on range anxiety. Somewhat of a gamble . Musk has usually done exactly what he said he would do. Just like Mr.Market.

Ladies and gentlemen, we got a hater!

I believe Tesla is wave of the future. Tesla's biggest obstacle is electrical energy storage not gas prices. Once that obstacle is overcome, Tesla will be the Apple of automotive industry.

I thought their biggest obstacle is the lack of enough recharging stations. Drivers' anxiety, and all that. Until then, it's probably just a status symbol.

River -- I think Musk is aiming to build a "super charger highway" that would allow drivers to drive coast to coast and recharge in <30 minutes at these super charger stations. Cool idea, but I agree we need more mainstream chargers in/around every city

Morgan Stanley issued a Statement that TSLA could possibly be a 10 Bagger or increase 1,000% .........I ain't buying it!
Here is what a Morgan Stanley analyst said. "As you likely suspect, Morgan Stanley gave a caveat to its 1000% return forecast. Adam Jonas, lead researcher of the auto sector for the investment bank, stated:
“This is a hyper-ambitious company, and the only one we cover whose stock price can realistically multiply by ten. It can also get cut in half. But we think patient investors will be rewarded if they can hang on for a wild ride.”

My brother had read an article about a man trying to sell his Tesla car, and he is getting no offers . Apparently the used car market for these cars is about as dead as Casey's nuts!
Imagine driving up to Canada in freezing, snowy weather with your TESLA . In my gas powered car , I crank up the heat and integrate it with air conditioning to keep the windows from fogging up.
Try this with a TESLA car , and if you run out of charge you will need to be towed. Your other option would be to turn off heat to save power! Screw that ..........I like COMFORT!

We have a Tesla charging station here in our little town, and it gets used quite often. As of now though, I haven't bought the stock.

I was told by a friend of a man who owns a Tesla that the owner was tired of worrying about running out of charge , and he wanted to trade in the Tesla for a BMW. The BMW salesman said that he should try to sell the car himself. Apparently the used market for a Tesla is about as dead as Casey's nuts!

Maybe so ...... they supposedly have a battery that can collect energy from solar panels, but that means you can't sell the electricity back to the power company for revenue. Furthermore that battery will deplete fast when using toasters, hair dryers or God forbid A.C.
T Boone Pickens had high hopes for wind power...but he lost his ass on that one.
