Dycom Industries Inc. (DY) on Tuesday reported fiscal third-quarter earnings of $33.1 million.
The Palm Beach Gardens, Florida-based company said it had profit of $1 per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to $1.08 per share.
The results surpassed Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 75 cents per share.
Up 8 after hours.For the current quarter ending in July, Dycom Industries expects its per-share earnings to range from $1.45 to $1.60. Analysts surveyed by Zacks had forecast adjusted earnings per share of $1.36.
