      Great idea! Mine used to turn green from the chlorine. So I quit.

          Well let me say this-s-s about that-t-t. The Kennedys are so yesterday, Billy. At least in Massachusetts. Except for Jackie. Because of the movie.

            Hit 200 miles swimming on July 31st. Starting next 100 . Should finish 300 sometime in December. Am conditioning hair and wetting before entering pool. It's helped.

              Finished 300 miles this morning about 7 A.M. Left shoulder and right knee aching. Cutting down next year before I fall apart. Slowed down to 144 days for final 100. Hair is better since using Louetta's suggestiion of soaking before getting into pool. Also conditioner helps.

                  Congratulations Billy, also and especially on your decision to cut back. If I understand correctly, you have been in pain from your left shoulder for 9 months this year and from your right knee also quite some time. That is just plain bad. Please take some time to recover and to check what kind of pain it is. Perhaps you already did. If it is wear and tear, training won’t help. It might even make things worse. Sorry for the advice, but you give me the shivers.

                    Congrats! At least your hair didn't turn green from the chlorine. Slow down now. You've proved you can do it. No need to kill yourself.
