Just for your information, on Feb. 23 The Zacks rating service put a 5 rating on BEL which is an outright sell. The Zacks rankings are from 1 being buys to 5 being sells. All there rankings are based on earnings and earnings revisions. Hope this is useful.

If the zacks rank is based on eps estimates and a company doesnt meet those estimates of course its going to have a really bad zacks rank so in essence if a company doesnt meet eps estimates than you should sell it and if it beats them then its a buy, my question is who cares about the zacks rank.

Well said evilarya...and the fact of the matter is..once a company misses its estimates, which are Zacks estimates, the market will have already digested this information. For Zacks to come out and publish a zacks rank and then have the market trade off the zacks rank would be kind of redundant...don't you think?

Actually, as I recall...I thought BEL was a good pick when you made it MM...You know you and I trade differently...so I would have bailed if I had gone in...But, in looking at it tonight I'd say it will probably bounce back.

Now, PTSI looks really good on the Flat Base...but I would avoid the group...You know me...I need some excitement and trucks are not my idea of fun...but I can envision a Flat Base B/O here...

GGI looks good now and SAFM is probably a good Defensive play...although I am waiting patiently for the EXCITING groups to take over at least until the election.

BEL aka GGI was one outstanding prospect when purchased by the Huge One. I also independently had it at the top of my list and was ready to purchase the same day MM selected it. This is an unusual situation that might happen once in a blue moon. If you're always wary of an unexpected turn of events , you could eliminate every stock and be safe cleaning latrines for a living. This is going to turn out OK.

I thought BEL was a good pick when you made it MM.. WRONG it was at $20.00+ when MM picked it. Most of the stocks that he picks go down right after he picks it. Not saying I can do better. But it's strange how these stocks act after he picks them.

Sorry to burst your balloon but your statement is incorrect.

Most of the stocks that I pick do NOT go down right after I pick them. Most of them go up after I pick them. Go back and check, they are all posted on my websoite. In fact 67 of my last 75 picks have outperformed the S&P 500 during the period I have held them.
