POY Contest Standings As of Market Close, Sept 18, 2020

INTZ continued to blast, strengthening its commanding lead and becoming our second interim triple bagger (NEXCF was our first triple bagger before pulling back). Second place is a battle between CRWD and NEXCF with a gang of stocks fighting for fourth place. An interesting new player is NVCR, which has been quietly moving up the ladder and is now poised to make some noise before the end of the year. At this point the only thing we know for sure is that things will change, so stay tuned.

As we head into the final quarter, things have tightened up a little, but the leaders remain the same. Mr. Market’s INTZ continues to lead, but Riverbabe’s CRWD has closed the once 100 percentage point lead to just 30. Mimo’s longtime, top of the leader board pick, NEXCF, is holding down third with a pack of picks just behind. Despite the excellent performance at the top, I think it’s still safe to say that this is far from over with three months to go. So it’s time to give your pick a little bump in the derrière.

As we begin to burrow into October, the leadership pretty much remains the same with Mr. Market’s INTZ holding on to the lead and Riverbabe’s CRWD in close pursuit. There was some shuffling in the rest of the pack, and after the smoke cleared, my own pick, TTD, nudged itself into third place. The big news, however, was a huge move by Louetta’s BDGY, which went net positive after being mired in red for quite a while. Congrats, Louetta. That’s the way the market is, folks. Things can change in a heartbeat. Stay Tuned. This ain’t over yet by a long shot.

POY Contest Standings As of Market Close, Oct 9, 2020

We had a little bit of a shakeup this week, especially at the top. INTZ was the big story. After a strong pullback starting on Tuesday, INTZ took an additional blow on Friday after the company announced a public offering at $8 a share. This caused the long time leader to plummet early before rebounding to end the day. INTZ will also be moving from OTC trading to become a NASDAQ stock. We’ll just have to see what the future holds for this interesting stock. In other news, BDGY took off like a rocket to start the week, reaching heights from which it challenged the leaders before pulling back hard the rest of the week. That was a tough ride. In any event, after the smoke cleared, CRWD was the leader (congrats Riverbabe) followed closely by TTD in second and previous leader NEXCF in third. Hey, I’ve been saying it all along, and this week merely proves it: In this market your fortunes can change in the blink of an eye. Time to give your horse a little kick in the side.

Crazy volatility with this one! Up 10% today already, so I sold half of my INTZ at just over $10, netting about $1 per share on it. Not bad for just one trading day! If it comes back to $9 again, I might pick these shares back up for the next ride to $12.
