Also, to your other question, the price would probably best be taken as the closing price on the day it was picked here. But if you're tracking it, I would say it's probably best left to you to interpret the rules and decide which price to use. If you do pick the wrong price, you can always correct it later, but I have a feeling there won't be much objection if you are off by a day or a dime on this one.

POY Contest Standings as of Market Close July 3, 2020
I forgot that the market is closed today in observance of Independence Day, so I will go ahead and post the standings for this week. It was an exciting week as Mimo’s NEXCF blasted into the lead, dethroning PACO, who has been in first place since the very earliest days of the contest. Congratulations, Mimo. It’s tight though, and I have a hunch there will be many changes at the top before this is over. Also a warm welcome to Antioch and his dad, who just joined the contest. They have to pay a 20% penalty for joining late, but don’t rule them out. Remember, Antioch’s dad and Antioch finished 1-2 last year, so the competition just got tougher. There are some pretty incredible gains at the top of the standings right now, but if you’re still under water, don’t despair. Mimo’s NEXCF was hovering near the bottom just a few short weeks ago. Now look at it. Let’s see what surprises are in store for us next week. Good luck everyone.

I received a text asking me to check in.
Sure you could add Antioch6 and Antioch6’s Dad.
For consistency we usually take the closing price of entry date and take 20 percent of the closing price. Thanks for the weekly updates.
MSFT at 206.26 on 07-02-20
EA at 133.84 on 07-02-20
Happy 4th of July everyone. Please be safe.
Hey, have anyone heard from Skiracer?

POY Contest Standings As of Market Close, July 10, 2020
What a week. The biggest shocker was the blowout performance of Mimo’s pick, NEXCF. Congratulations, Mimo, for not only being the first to double your investment, but also for almost doubling the performance of the number two pick, Riverbabe’s CRWD. Congratulations to Riverbabe for moving into the number two slot after Paco’s amazing pick, REGN, pulled back a little. Don’t rule anything out, however. We still have almost six months left and anything can happen, as we have seen. Mimo’s lead may seem insurmountable at this point, but we were saying the same thing about REGN just a few short weeks ago. Stay tuned and have faith.

POY Contest Standings As of Market Close, July 17, 2020
There was a little bit of jostling at the top of the standings this week. Other than that, however, things pretty much remained the same with Mimo way out in front with a pick (NEXCF) that has almost tripled since the start of the contest. If you’re not in the mix yet, stay the course. Change is the only constant in the market.

POY Contest Standings as of Market Close, July 24, 2020
This was another interesting week, with the big news being major moves by Mr. Market’s pick, INTZ, and John Henry’s pick, AMD. Mimo’s NEXCF still has a firm grip on first place even after a big pullback this week, and Paco’s perpetual top-of-the-leaderboard pick REGN still commands second place. After that, we have a pack of six contenders now vying for third place including INTZ and AMD. For those of you still below water, keep the faith. There will be plenty more jostling before this thing is over.

Here are the latest standings. Mimo is still in the lead with NEXCF, but that previous, seemingly insurmountable lead has shrunken considerably and several people are now within striking distance. There are some pretty impressive gains in the list, but for those still looking to crack the leaderboard there is plenty of time left.
