A Simple Mans Plan

As the new year is apon us we all enter into a ferocious battle trying to decide on which way to travel. Shall we follow the trends of or past or brake away into a new areas of investing.These opitions are always at our front door but are we willing to open and explore.
This year I shall proceed with all of the above and see if I may increase my holding in new areas.
#1=== Technology: Is one of my least favorite areas of investing: I know nothing about this arae an shall continue down this path. The time spent looking into RFID stocks has affirmed this opionion. This sector is just not my style nor my cup of tea.
#2=== Energy: Now this is an area that I do feel more confortable with since my profit for 2004 lie mostly in this sector. As I have read, purchase ten stocks 3 will do fantastic, 4 will hold there own, the rest will be a lose. MILLE,ob, CPN, BDCO where my losers for 2004 and have tought me a lesson in investing. (If you invest in to MOMO make sure you have a tight escape in the plan.) As many may have read in Spicks thread my interst of SVSE is quit obvious. Here is a co. that is making a gas play in northern CA. with oportunity also in Canada. This E & P Co. is playing at the right place at the right time in my opinion. Natural Gas is going to be the fuel of choice in CA. for quit sometine to come. Pipelines are in place and drilling program is full steam ahead. With TIV just a short distance away chaseing the same dream of N.G. in northern CA and recieving the attention that it has I do feel there will be a pot of BLACK GOLD at the end of its rainbow.
#3=== Retail: My profits in this sector were also in the plus side of life. My top gainers last year were AEOS, BJ, HELE, JCP, and URBN. Sold HELE & URBN @ 45%. AEOS, BJ, JCP where moved to my Green Acre Port. (this is were I sell half after 100% and let it do its own thing.) Still holding LOW, HB, & DLTR in hopes that they will be moved in the up and coming year. If the market will alow I shall pick up some KSS in hopes of a GREEN furture.
#4=== Financials: Still holding NEW in my G. A. Port with quit a sucess story at that. I will look into this area again this year and see what is ripe for the picking. One thing about it, its sure the hells knot going to be a blue chip. Been playing with the idea of a MM, maybe something old or maybe somethinf new. You know he has the best dumps in the HUGE MARKET.
#5=== Basic Materials: I will also be watching this sector for the perfect entry. I'm tunimg my sights in on eather PCL & RYN. For these two hold my peak interest at the present time. LPX & WY are also in the running and do have a chance, we will just have to wait and see what the market will give.
#6=== Transportation: GWR is going to be a play in this sector that I shall be watching with an eagles eye. It serves 5 different ports @ the present time. With likeable Fundementals I feel there is a place here to grow. You will find this stock in the middle of the sectors market cap. which leaves me to beleive that there is a chance for an onward & upward march in 2005.
#6=== Utilities-Natural Gas: I've been looking for another co. in this sector to complement my investment with KMI. ATO seems to fill this request at the present time. With 75% of the homes built in the last 15 years being heated and cooled with natural gas I feel quit confortable looking in this co. direction. Again you will find this co. in the middle of the market cap. with plenty of room to grow.
#7=== Consumer Non-Cyclica- Food Processing: Will continue to invest in the ESPP at work for a person can not pass up the discount that is offered at Sara Lee Bakery Group. Over 200 shares at present time with a plan of never touching this capital. This has to be one of the most tasteful groups in the market, so I shall continue to hope that someday I've have an entry into RMCF. This is a small co. that has produced an amazing presence in this sector and I shall savor the thought of owening it soon.
#8=== Healthcare - Drugs: As time marches on and life just keeps getting better I feel drugs will play a major part in lifes fulfillments. Aches an pains will keep increasing and our dependance in drugs will become a way of life for us babyboomers. So the only way to support our new habits is to foot the bill by investing into this side of the market. At the present I've only purchased one of these types companies but will pick another one be a companion to ELN.
#9=== Capital Goods- Construction Services: This is also a simple task to under take for I've already stated my intrest in MTRX. This stock has been beaten down as of late but will rebound in the coming year. I do see a 50% up side in a years investment here.
#10=== Healthcare-Med Equipment: Nano ;; Going back in for another taste of this feild. BIPH.ob has held up amazingly well, as a matter of fact I feel it is above all of the rest in this sector. There product is of a comman interest to the industry and there exposure is obvious for the per share price will support there outcome.

Will this is where my plan is heading me for this years adventures. I hope to fulfill this all in the first half for they are saying the last halr will be the better half. ===> M.E.A.

ps Wooooo Webs what do you think the possibility is of someday fighting these stupid WARS with phasers are.

I like the idea of fighting simulated wars with computers, but I doubt that most Iraqi's would know how to turn a computer on.

It would be nice if someone could intervene and stop the madness. When he was President, Ronald Reagan made a couple of comments regarding that possibility. They went like this....

O Happy Day

Today is a day of sorrow and happyness in our household. My son of 25years has decided to tie the knott before he is deployed on the 18 of this month. So needless to say there will be tears flowing later on today as the service is ending.
There is also good news as far as my daughter is concerned, they are leaving for State side on the 21 of this month. It will take awhile but at least I know she will be coming home soon.

Just don't seam right ones coming home and ones leaving, just like ships passing in the night. ===> M.E.A.

AEOS === I not real sure that I should be posting result ( bad luck thing ) but heres it goes anyway. Today we are selling half of our position in American Eagle Outfitters for it has crossed the 100% mark for ME. I had a real rough nights sleep over this one since it is the last stock in my port that was even close to breaking over. Yes I know it breaks some of your hearts not being able to hear me boast about my success. Well its over, finished, caput. Unless POG makes me a winner again but highly unlikely.
O Well that gives me something to work for in 05.
Unless CSTR kicks it in the ASS and starts a move off of 75%.
thats one we will just have to wait and see on.
Unless HD makes papa a winner, LOW is back around 60% & HD is @ 88%.

A look in tothe furture

Yes I know this type of a post is about six days late and will hold no value for I'm a know buddy without a degree other than life and it's one of thoughs things that just don't matter what a corn stalk thinks out here in CORN STALK COUNTRY but since I do have your attention here goes what I feel is a prophets out look on the year ahead.

D === Diminion Res. is a play that can not be ignored, entry around the $64.50 mark will bless you with a nice stance in the ELECTRIC Utilities Sector. As the charts will read, you will beeeee in a support zone at this # and I feel that there is room to grow from here. The P/B & P/S are quit low at this point which shows me there is room to grow if you can find a perfect entry. Who knows if a person was to watch this stock close enought this coming year and the GODS of the Market shows you FAVOR and you are able to place an order at $64.50 there is an up side from there.

I know this is a word that holds no salt but if the " ANALyst" were to play into your hand on this one I do feel that you will be rewarded with a 32% to 37% reward. Their opion is split down the middle at this point, so if lets say there are a couple of down grades EARLY in the year that would open the later half which is supose to be the better half.

DHB === Now if a person were the type of investor that liked to follow the HEARD then I would strongly suggest this stock for I do feel that at the end of this year there is a pot of gold to be had if you are able to have the patience to ride this roller coaster. I feel somewhere around the $16.25 range is a good entry. Low target is around $19.00 which will let you reterive a 20% profit in a market that is said to be on the tight side this year.

DNR === As you all may know by know I do Realish this Sector of the Market, but I AM LEARNing to show no Emotional Attachment to my old livelyhood. I first started to track this field back in 2000, made a few paper ports to see just what is going on, and if it was a possibale place to play. As of today if I were to have entered back then I would have been up 130+% at this time. Yes I know, would of and could of did not show and my hands are empty at this point but I"m about to tell you a story about a man named Jed. He is a cool moutain mother foooolker with shingles all over his head. (pure B.S.)

As this story line continues I do feel that there is a place for these guys in my pot of honey this year. Looken for an entry around the $21.00 range with hopes of at least 25% here. I Do feel we will test the 200 ema at this point of the market. Myself I'm planning my moves to be made in AUG. the month of THE HOWLER, DROP BABY DROP.

DHR === Now this is the weekest of my DEEEEEEES and I'm out of my field looking here but I do feel there is a play here.

FPIC === Sold and the word alas is used litely as the proper adj. Yes I did reach outside of the box on this one, asking the market to render a point and 7/8 to my favor. If it would not have been for the Santa Clause clause I dont feel that the Market would have lowered itself to benefit this lowely investor who knows not how to spell.

POG === Somedays you win a few and other days you just lose. I was hoping POG would join my list and become a GREENER PASTURES award winner but it don't look like it is going to happen. O F*+king WELL. I will just take their advanture and see where it leads me.

In the news this morn. it was stated that Noble is on a quest to aquier POG. With the opening gap up and there stated share price of $37.89 it will be interesting to see if I make a 100% or travel to another world to watch my monies grow.
