Rules for Pick of The Year (PoTY) 2024

Happy New Year! Friends come and gather around and get your picks in.

BlueWolf and I will continue our tradition to co-host the PoTY 2024.

You have until January 28, 2024 up to 11:59 PM PST to make a pick – Starting price will be January 29, 2024 closing price (per Google, unless it's shown that the Google price is incorrect).

The contest will start on January 29, 2024. Any stocks trading on the NASDAQ, AMEX, NYSE or, OTC – Long or short.

We welcome IPOs if picked by the end of January 28, 2024 – Starting price will be the closing price of the IPO.

Picks submitted after January 28, 2024 are welcome – A 20% penalty of the closing price.

Short share price – Price when delisted plus a 20% penalty of the closing price.

A reverse split, split, or, symbol change – OK if you let us know prior to or on January 28, 2024. A 20% penalty for the extra research after January 28, 2024.

I don’t know – didn’t it reach close or go over $900.00 prior to splitting.
WJS, Barron’s, and IBD all three papers said slow demands for chips for 2023. So happy I didn’t short in real life.
