What do you think about MFLX and SNRR? MFLX sold off hard recently. I really like fundamentals and have decided to hold it for a longer term, but would like to hear your opinion chartwise.

MFLX is approaching a long-term significan lower channel around 15.00. I would expect great support there. If that fails, the gap support should be strong. There is also good volume by price support at the gap.

SNRR should have great support at either gap or gap closure. But the gap sure is large. I would anticipate closure of it, and channel support around 12.00, which is also 38.2% fib retrace of the big move up. Might be in an A after a 5 wave move. Look for a C entry.

QQQQ weekly shows a clear channel long this week. Watching for the bull to come barrelling out of the gates...

MTRX === is one that has also cauhgt my eye. If would please sir post a chart aand enlighten us with your words of wisdom on this topic. For I see that it has a long way to go before it finds support.

Spike thanks for the insight on drawing channels.

The only thing I'd question is where you start the black channel from. Consistency in a system comes from doing consistent things. It would be hard to have channel consistency drawing a channel from anywhere you can make a channel long fit. Know what I mean? Drawing them from a recent or long-term low gives them more credibility and significance.

EDIT: And DHB's channel today makes a slight expansion, which is a warning for longs. The channel long yesterday - the lod - failed, and although today IS another channel long day, there is the expansion there, which is the warning. If I had a trade in profit, I'd move stop to break even, and if I was in the red I'd probably close the trade at next intraday R1 or price resistance.

Spike: I've read stockchart.com's description of price channels, but it doesn't explain subtlties like expansion. How did you learn that, is there a reference on this somewhere or just experience?

what is your opinion on either DCAI or MFRI as to entry and targets? I've looked and I don't think you've already covered these.
Also STG looks to be an interesting penny stock.

Yes, just experience. I doubt you'll find channel expansion discussed anywhere, but let me know if you find it. It's a concept I implimented into my own system after personal observation of channel behavior.

Edit: target...hmm, the weekly doesn't show me much, as it's had a very strong move and channels are acting weird. I'd target 44 off the daily.

MFRI, I'd pass on, just had a channel long 3 days ago that's failed. Maybe think about gap support buy, but I'm not excited about it.

STG looks to be an interesting penny stock.

Not sure about this one. Last several weekly candles put me off, although it is acting bullish and broke out of the weekly down channel from early last year. I'd wait for it to form a better picture...
