  • Greetings Spike,
Ive been waiting for someone else to bring it up,but I cant wait anymore.
Can you give a read on the stem sell stocks that have been going nuts since the beginning of the year?

    Namely ASTM and STEM,

These two along with others are on Nitro lately, and theres an IPO out this week for another.I dont want to miss the boat, yet I dont swim well enough if they sink.

    cordially Tom

Howdie Thomrich. Here's a weekly for ASTM, which shows an upper channel that makes for good targeting, but the daily is a hard read. Not sure what the count is and channels showing it's too extended now for an entry. Maybe a FIB 50% entry makes sense?? Will pay to watch these though....

I'll do one for STEM now.

ASTM premarket play. Naturally, the stop is the tricky part

STEM: Probably the better of the two. Chase the channel turn up with a tight stop to avoid pain. Entry critical with this one. Traded higher this morning, so one can assume a channel turn up will/may occur by close of market today. So buying the pivot at 5.77 is a good play. Stop at 5.59 makes sense support-wise, and keeps risk at 3.2%. Might even play that myself today.

QQQQ long: Didn't get the entry I wanted yesterday, and looking today to buy S1 intraday at 38.39. Should get good support there.

                      Nope, didn't take it.

SWIR, a channel short day today on the daily, and the channel short from 3rd Jan still in play and working nicely. I'm bearish on it until it proves itself over coming weeks. Intraday, it's looking slippery to me, but good luck with it if you take it, cuz it's whisperin' lower prices to me.

                          XOM & BPT

                          Spike,

I want that Root Beer! I had to get the CEO of XOM to take some of that $7B in cash to attack BPT's stock to keep the price down.

Silly bull. Vector will close bearish today, so hard stop at 37.99 and I'll be exiting this long tomorrow at first resistance and look to go short at an appropriate time should 38.01 fail to hold. Ain't this fun?!
Bull suit now off and putting it in the closet.

CMN may be giving us another buying opportunity.
