As you know, I sold BPT for a tidy 9+% profit in 2 weeks. It now at $55.40.

Ya, I trade the ES and NQ eminis every day. I never post them here because the system I use is secretOriginally posted by New-born babySpike,
Are you trading anything besides QQQQ?
and besides, it's a stock focussed board anyway. The Qs swings are just for a bit of fun and to demonstrate a bit of discipline. I'm actually thinking of giving them a break altogether. Perfect swing entries are hard to find in the Qs, and when I get them it's not as rewarding as futes and stocks. I try to post as many others that I can, but what with this thread and the 50% thread, and all the other stuff, and the occasional options trades I take, I'm running out of time!

I know a guy who used to trade E-mini's and made over 1000% per year at it. Unfortunately he got busted for racketeering and securities fraud and is in the process of serving 6 years in the joint, but he says that when he gets back out he'll start trading again. It should be no problem, being he should have a couple million hidden away from the racketeering venture.
I'll stay away from the racketeering and securities fraud thing, but I would like to try trading E mini's one day. I firgure I need a few years of stock trading experience before I consider it though. I'd also like to try trading commodities, but that's probably even further out.
Spike, I don't guess you'd tell us how long you've been trading would you? Of course, I'll understand if you prefer not to answer this question...LOL
I've been at it a year now...I've got a lot to learn, but I'm glad I made a profit for my first year!

Hi Spike,
what's your projected target for CMN with the recent turn up?
Also, I really need help on recognizing the whole 12345 abc deal. Can you recommend a particular site or book? It all looks like seizure activity to me.

Sorry, don't have a good reference for it. Just something I've grown to like because I've seen it work so well. I'm not an expert at fibs, and not a purist. For me, the 12345 can have overlapping. The C entry is very tradeable. Not perfect, so stops are needed, but when they work, they can be rewarding.Originally posted by noshadyldyHi Spike,
