Spike, what do you make on this chart on DHB?

The concepts on that chart are unfamiliar to me. Here's what I see in DHB: Tiny risk, very handsome profit. The numbers support the long, considering I got a perfect entry. It's what I spend so much time looking for, and it's going to get the opportunity to develop and surprise bears.

If you're looking for entry long, try to anticipate the shoulder entry on the daily.

Spike, I think as long as 8.62 holds on DHB it might be ok, if 8.62 is taken out it might not be ready yet to run. I see several nice short opportunities with DHB and I do not see any reason to cover now, but who knows. When shorts do cover look out!

Does this qulify as a double top? (its the 1 min of TZOO on friday). Where would be the exact point to short this?

Yeah, I'd count that as a double top. It just didn't give you the perfect short at the top. If you take the 1min closing values, you had a chance to short at 56.50 - if you got filled. Also, see my intraday chart wave count; a 5th completion at R2 56.61 worked

Hey New-born. Refer to my recent post on CKCM, and in particular the weekly chart in reference to you seeing people wanting 'out'.

I agree. If 8.62 fails, it's a failure of the setup, and there is not reason to stay in. The daily red channel turn down is a whisper it will fail. For that reason Webs, you should give serious thought to break even stop or get out at R1 or R2 intraday next week.

What does it mean when the middle line of the channel is hit? As in APLX, I have actually been holding this one (suffering through the fall), and wondering if it still has hope.

Obviously I don't do my channels the way your chart shows, so I can only hazard a guess as to it's validity. Looks okay to me though. Here's the way I'd look at the picture.

Just think of a midline as a valid support line. I don't use them for entries, but that's the way I look at them.

APLX my thoughts: The weekly channel long failure was the reason to get concerned. Had I taken it long that week I naturally would have stopped out in the manner that is so well-discussed in this thread; under my supporting intraday pattern. Since then there hasn't been a short setup to cause prices to fall, but there hasn't needed to be one. That big gap up left some pretty significant holes in both price and volume, and it seems now that the stock 'needs' to fill them. Price got ahead of it and support has abandoned the high prices.

As for it's hope, I see the gap fill support as a wonderful place to be thinking about a long or double up. But by the sounds of it, you've taken a hit, and I quietly encourage stricter r/r management on your part. Let your winners run, not your losers. Best to ya!

Spike, I know I'm learning...It seems that whenever I sell, it goes back up the next day, but if I don't it keeps going lower...i swear it's a conspiracy *they know everytime I make a trade* LOL
