    SCOTC Newsflash!

SYNC, our Superstock candidate suffers a stop out with its second position, AND some slippage in the drop. Risked was -4% but realistic slippage factored in and it's more like -6.5%, so that's what I'll record for it.

The first position for SYNC is still within limits and thus it's not eliminated, but it has certainly lost most of it's shine now.

But amazingly, the open port is postive today after AET does some magic and becomes the new standout! AET. Aetna! Run baby run. And oh so close to adding to it yesterday (it was only 10c short of filling).

    Here's the 6mth and 5 day charts:

Port total without losses factored in is +0.2%,

80 minutes into the day and the cream is rising .... I'm beginning to suspect GOOG is going to make a quick jump soon. With a double position it will help the port too..............I'm bidding the GOOG pivot to add a 3rd position to it, but I'm not sure it will fill it....

There is a 'resize' option at imageshack now, see if that works...

AET new highs.....and check out the chart. You'll recall I'd posted I was bidding 90.00 which was the SHS target line.....doh, so close. So proof that SHS's don't always meet their targets before reversing back up!

Suggestions on where to bid to add to AET please

            • greetings Spike,

Ill show my ignorance, assuming it will keep marching up,the best I can see is around 93.90,which is not that far away.

I never know how to play moves like these,my emotions tell me I missed the run,yet HANS shows that a bull run can keep on truckin.

              cordially Tom

BTW missed your post about OSIP,caught it late, and shorted at 24.60,only a mall amount as its my first short sale.Stop at 25,just a little wiggle over the HOD.

Thanks Tom. I know what you mean about those gap up moves, and how they keep on truckin in the face of the emotion of caution to chase it. When a stock is in momo-mode it'll do just about anything, and I guess all we can do is follow the rules and play the r/r and sit back and see The weekly upper channel is 105.00, so it's got potential anyway.....I was bidding 93.00 for it earlier (R2 that's now support) but CHS filled first, so I'm out of system bullets for now anyway.

Good luck with OSIP! May your first short be a great one It has great potential on the downside if it can get some momentum going.
Good r/r you got there I think, despite not being the perfect entry, but it's not too much of a chase.

                    SCOTC:

Fully locked and loaded again with GOOG breaking out from it's recent high If she rock n rolls, could give the port the breath of life it needs to recover from the average of -1.4%....

                      SCOTC:
MCRS's daily PSAR has turned bearish and I'm closing it out today here at it's intraday pivot for -1.82% loss. This position is going over to GOOG, which is setting up nicely for another push up; just generated a buy signal on the 20-day psar/mfi chart. Bidding 396.20 R1 now support.

CB and BER have the rest of the day and the morning to do something good or they'll be cut too, as their psars have weakened and turned. Just need 1 day to confirm they're out.

                          Spike,
I have a feeling that Lye is having satellite problems.

Was doing some reading and came upon this quote , could have been written by Spike, but who said it first?

"If you have formed a conclusion from the facts and if you know your judgement is sound , act on it , even though others may hesitate or differ. You are neither right nor wrong because the crowd disagrees with you. You are right because your data and reasoning are right."

SCOTC: Yet to show it's worth as a system.........the cream of the dump isn't inspiring yet.

Total doesn't inlude the 7 eliminations for an average of -3.39% per position, and when that's spread over 20 positions, the port average stands at -1.07%, so still hanging in there.

The question to ask is not about your system but the market itself. Not much headway since you started your new system. This one factor has caused many traders to abandon a good system and chase another one and thus always being confused (speaking of myself).

IMO your system might have proved profitable back a few weeks when the markets in general were in rally mode. I think many investors are anticipating the test of 2005 highs. But then again many want the markets to prove it can take out those highs and stick on the retest of those highs. Spike look at the major Indices over the last 4 days they really have not done much. The media needs something to talk about and so each year they harp about the Santa Rally.

I realize the hard work your putting into this and so I’m sure something good will derive from it..
