Hey spike, I'm reading a book called elliot wave principle to better understand the whole EW concept. Anyway, Im using AOB as my model chart and trying to draw the numbers out. Id appreciate if u could tell me how this looks and what im doing wrong or can do better next time. Thanks!

Note: I was hand drawing the numbers on paint as u can tell so i didnt include a or b channel marks because of lack of room but u can tell where they would be using C. BTW, the Red 5 u see towards the right by itself is showing the 5th wave of the pattern down. The previous 5 wave pattern up, i didnt put a 5 just because i was rushing to finish and couldnt clearly ID that one =]

sekto, bravo for the effort dude! Keep doin' it and watch it improve over time!

I'll post some tips that might help you fit the labelling in later. Just simple stuff like how to get a bigger chart and which program I use, and how to get the text on there etc.

You prolly know this by now, but I'll reiterate just in case you missed it. My EW counting IS NOT traditional and NOT sticking with the formal rules. It's very simplified EW, and I merely looking for the 12345abc move and don't label correctives beyond that. I'll put subwaves in there if it fits but that's about it. If there isn't a clear simple pattern then I've got no time for it.

In those cases I'll just use channels and patterns etc to work out a bias for a chart.

I'm sure there are EWers everywhere cringing at my stuff, but who cares if it makes me money right? hehe

Spike and NBB, Thanx for the response on that fear chart. You both responded as I expected and I appreciate you anwers. The turning point of the fear chart doesn't pinpoint the point the market may shift. I think its more of a reaction to the change in market. Once things turn bullish the average fear should decrease due to the majority of $ riding on a bull market. Unless you are trading shorts or put options, then we make $ anyway!!!

It's had an impressive couple of months, hasn't it! I think some profit-taking is probably due. Weekly money flow isn't that impressive.

Intraday, I'm not really liking the pattern at the top yet. The SHS is kind of steep so I would pass on a short for it at this stage. But the profit-taking tag on the daily certainly sets it up for some downside.

What the Fear Chart does is signal that there may very quickly be a stampede for the door. ........won't take much for a stampede to occur, and you don't want to get trampled.

Therefore, the chart is an indicator telling you to take extreme caution now before it becomes a stampede.
