Park, yep, I actually did read the work 'only' when I read it, and I guess your word 'depend' was the key word that promped my thoughts, not to be critical of what you said, but to make the other points.

Yep, I understand that notion of 'event-driven', which is even more reason one shouldn't 'depend' on anything but one's own sound money management and risk exposure, and even THEN you can't really 'depend' on it; cuz a bad enough event-driven plunge can still bite even the most cautious trader. That was my point, and didn't mean to sound obnoxious if you took it that way.

And the humor in there wasn't directed at you, but just trying to be funny and goofy at the expense of anyone who doesn't practise good money management and risk control.

Creme of the Crop #2 CLOSES

Creme of the Crop #2 CLOSES for a nice 7.43% profit!

SuperStock USG makes +22.59% on 1st position, and carries port average to +7.93% across 10 positions. Losses in this system were a mere 0.5% across the average, so final profit is 7.43% on the average.

Pretty spectacular in the face of today's very bearish plunge.

Come on RIO and all the other MM picks! I'm ready for another Data Dump!! hehe

The Crop system is 2 from 2, with average crop delivering 5.715%.

          Shadow,

MRK setting up right now. Stalk that 'c' correction and great r/r setup! It's on my watchlist still and I'll see if I can nail the turn into the impulse 1.

                UTSI in review:

Poor money flow, at channel resistance, c long failure, poor start to the year.

See the daily 'c' long failure there on today's daily chart?! 'c' was around 8.00, and failure in late Dec in the face of the weekly resistances has led to a poor January for the stock. This remains a good short on any strength up to 8.00 resistance.

WPO short setup?? 22% target (fat fingers before post edited ), with 3% risk if stop over channel short, that's r/r or 7, which is OK.

Just edited that WPO post. Miscalculated the target, and the r/r is actually 7, which is OK.

Spike, how is that ERS looking?

Looks like ERS has made it onto the IBD100 as the new #1. The float on that one is quite small, under 4 million shares. So it's a "jumpy" mover...

It seems overbought here, but I am quite sure that it will gap-up at the open on Monday. I am thinking that $19 is a realistic price target - thinking that $19.40 looks like the upper trend line resistance. How about you?

I also assume that the buy-back point would be around 16.00?

                      Thanks for all the help!

                        That thing is G-I-G-A-N-T-I-C!

Forks target 22.50 and rising rapidly. But anyone chasing this is what I'd call.............

                                Siri

                                Spike,
Webs has apparently grown quite bored with SIRI. He hasn't mentioned this technologically devoid stock in months. Nevertheless, I was just checking the charts and SIRI is sitting on some kind of support before yesterday's bounce higher. Since I do not need any Vulcanized advice, (and am having some trouble swallowing his Vulcanized, illogical bragging ), I was wondering if I might trouble you with a cold, hard TA of SIRI? I'd appreciate it.

My view is that we might get a bounce here worth playing.
