    bearish psar on PKD

It's in the building materials sector, and with the likes of siblings FLS, NCS, FIX, AMN and CR, which are showing impulsive behavior, perhaps Crop #2 will get a big push up in the face of a weaker broader market.....
I dont see a bearish psar on PKD at the close yesterday in my daily chart.

I assume you set the step at .02 and the maximum step at .20

    What are you using?

Here's what I'm lookin at. Prophet.net shows a bearish too. Just followin' the system rules...

That double top the thing it faces now. I like the count, and think it'll impulse if it can get over that top.

          • Spike,

            What’s your take on the MRK chart. Looking for a short term trade;
DT and shorting not an option. Next trial date 1/29. I already know
the FA side stinks. I’m having trouble reading this chart.

            Thanks

If you're looking for a long, I think it's doing a little 'b' up, so buy the 'c' dip to perhaps 32.50 which happens to be minor channel support. Runaway gap supports, as does daily/weekly money flow. The weekly gap isn't high vol though, which has me hesitant. It might want 30.00 again to fill it, but weekly channel resistance isn't until 36.60. But that target isn't real good r/r wise. There are better plays I think.

                            Spike,

Thanks for your input. This one is giving me trouble.

"There are better plays I think" is an understatement. There are
1000's of better plays! Unfortunately for this particular account
it's either this stock or mutual funds.

I'm not pleased with some of the fund choices and returns so
I'm trying to figure out how to short term trade this stock to
boost the mediocre mutual fund returns.

I wish I could pick another stock!

                            Many thanks for the insight.

Actually, it's less creativity and more trying to make it 'look right' at the expense of the broader rules. I thought about my 4 when I did the chart, and didn't like it at first, then thought nah, it looks ok so far. Where this HANS uppy goes will tell us eventually.
                                Spike,
Ya know poetic license is ok with me. God knows we all do it when we see it that way. Just voicing my humble opinion on the chart but no problemo here at all. I liked the chart and the EW count the other day on SNUS an ended up buying 2000 shares on that one you brought to the table.
