Hey Spike...

Just wondering what's your thoughts on KCS? It's creeping up on it's 52 week high...

I'm thinking if it can crack 14.55, that looks like it would be entering a new box and possibly run up.

I really appreciate all your posts and would love to see your take on this. I saw how you mentioned 13 as a channel touch and if 14.55 would be another.

Logical stop is tucked under support. See below chart and green arrow. But if you really want to maximize your profit, look at the intraday chart, accept that you've got 5 waves, take you profit now with the view to opening a fresh position on a retrace to support.

Yes, there's a way to technically judge at what point it might run out of steam and profit taking to occur. On an intraday chart for today, you can see 5 clear waves up. It will run out of steam then, probably on it's last push up now, and there will be a retrace back down to support - i'd guess 26.00ish?? So it's at 28.10 now. Are you prepared to lose 2.10 hoping for more? I'd take it all off now, and wait for the retrace to add it all on again. Then I'd target like a pig, as shown in the chart below.

Now is good time to reenter if you had taken profits 2 days ago.

Yup, fun fun fun. It's not easy to snag those perfect entries, but patience.... I am looking for a SHS formation today to enter. Intraday R1 in 32.90 and there's a left shoulder and head possibly in place, I'll consider an R1 entry.

Think of it like haggling for a bargain. I'd be haggling over price with this one. But it means you have to be prepared to walk away if the seller doesn't give you the price you're haggling for.
EDIT: The red channel actually turns up - I accidently moved it left a day by mistake before taking a snapshot.

Looking for this pattern to be the top. The graph below depicts the intraday SHS target. I shall not close there however, but hold it looking for a sub 30.76 number.

Websman's thoughts for the week....

It looks like a few traders made a momentum trade on NUTR today...up $1...I had a feeling this would happen, but didn't feel like taking the gamble. Maybe NUTR will continue climbing...

DHB was up by 44 pennies....and I sold yesterday ...hey, but at least I sold for a profit! Let's hope DHB follows the chart and takes a dip, so I can rebuy at a lower channel entry point. It would be great to profit twice on this one.

ELN could be stting up for a nice run. I'll have to check the charts for a proper entry point. Will ELN be the big one?

SIRI made a whole penny today. This is my one long term hold. I know it's illogical to hold this one, but I do have a small amount invested and I am fascinated by the technology of the whole thing. SIRI should prove to be quite intersting in the future.

OFG...I don't want to talk about this one.

The market is tough, but I have managed to get a profit out of my last three trades. Let's hope the trend continues.

I think DHB will head to at least $20. I was just hoping for a dip...Maybe we'll both make $$$.
I may have to suck it up and rebuy in the $15 range...time will tell.
