Keeping a positive attitude and setting goals helps to speed up the recovery process. Keep reminding him that he'll someday pride himself more on how he overcame the obstacles in life than he will in counting the number of victories which did nothing to build his character.

Stop losses are for wimps. My portfolio is diversified, that's insurance enough for me. Many of my winners were once way in the hole, and yet by the time I sold them for a 15% gain, they had indeed outperformed the market.

If I ever get in a similar situation what should I do? This is in reference to the recent engagement of former NFL tight end Eric Johnson to entertainer Jessica Simpson. Following was taken from the nfl bleacher report.
