I have only made one buy from the MM picks, that being HZO. There are two reasons that I have not done more: 1) I am usually fully invested so the timing of the picks do not usually line up. 2) I do not like to buy stocks that are so far above their breakout points without the stock building a base first. That may work for MM but I am not comfortable with it. I have also made a couple of purchases using the MM screen that have turned out pretty well, those being FPIC and VTIV.
Did you ever buy a $$$MR. MARKET $$$ Stock Pick?

$$MM Stocks that I've bought
I'm still pretty new to the site (joined in March). Since then I've bought PDX (thanks for the 15%), OFG, SPF, DECK, NUTR, HDWR, and ARLP. A couple of those I sold too soon (DECK & NUTR). I gave up on OFG & SPF quite a while ago too. I'm in HDWR for the 3rd time since you picked it. Right now the only $$MM picks I have are HDWR & ARLP. Just wanted to thank $$MM for sharing his research. The majority of my money is in mutual funds, but it's fun to have some play money to mess around with.

Mr Market, I'm with you brother!
Webs...
Considering the market got slaughtered today, I don't think that's too bad. Now all we need is that target price of $42.01!

Anyone want to buy some shares of MCRI?

Webs, Aren't you a Vulcan? don't trade on emotion. Rationally reevaluate the stock, if you think its going to go up, keep it. If not, sell it.
Some would say you should stick to a set plan (ex, hold until you make 15%), but they often fail to say that a complete investing plan should always include constant reevaluation of your stocks. The markets are always changing, and you need to compare your investments to the new market climate and adjust if needed.Buy Low
Sell High
STAY FROSTY!

I don't want to ride MCRI all the way down. I did that with OFG and I promised myself I wouldn't do it again. I would rather take a small loss rather than take the chance of losing more.
I spent the afternoon working on my boat, so I haven't had the chance to look at the chart yet, but that will be what makes my decision to hold or sell. I tend to agree with Spike on limiting losses.

I'm learning a lot this year, and my biggest lesson has been to not ride a stock all the way down. This is pointless, considering that there are 8,000 other stocks to invest in.
Luckily I didn't buy a lot of shares of OFG, so I consider that loss as a valuable lesson.
The charts have spoken...if MCRI breaks hte $30 support area tomorrow, I'm bailing out. The next support after that is $22. I'm not going down like that.

I have bought all of MM picks since Dec 03, and I even have traded some his old picks and made good money on them (URBN, CBK, WSB). One thing that I do is that I only keep 6 of his stocks so if he replaces a stock I didnt have, I dump one to keep only 6. This saved me from BEL. I am beating the market averages so far with his picks.
I also have keep to I die stocks GE, LOW, WFMI, DELL, MO.
I also SIRI, ELAB, NTAP, JDSU, and FCEL.
According to IBD I have too many stocks but it has worked for me.Jaws57
