DMK, I’m neutral on this market right now. We just have not gone anywhere in a few weeks. Next short term Bull task I see for S&P is to clear 1270 and Bear task 1255. I view this day as a Bull failure. But for now I’m in Neutral and advice trading few shares or staying out and forgetting about the market until after the New Year.

I’ll more likely than not stay in cash, as I’m leaving town next week.

Possible Short candidates worth keeping an eye on for the following week

MOGN- has been in a intermediate downtrend and has pulled back. One may take it short off violation of the 17.75 areas.

COHU- is currently in a downtrend.

AVL- is in an intermediate term downtrend and has pulled. One may look to take it short @ 29.60

Only problem I see with these is the group action is in an uptrend. Plus the markets in general are moving sideways.

Looks as if last week was a great time to be on vacation. Not many scan returns coming in on the long side. Hope everyone had a great New Years!!

LAS VEGAS--Networking products maker Netgear and wireless calling provider Skype on Wednesday unveiled the first Wi-Fi phone designed to work on the internationally popular voice over IP service.

The so-called Wi-Fi phone, which will allow Skype users to access the service and call anyone anywhere in the world, is expected to be available in the first quarter of 2006. The companies also said pricing would be announced in that time frame.
