A dollar spends the same way whether you made it from a long play or a short play. You in this for the fun or to make money?

I have to admit that I do get a big kick out of trading, so I guess it is for fun. Making money is a benefit.

DSteckler, what do you think of SPIL here?

I thought about buying, but that 50 day MA looks like it could be the support to me.

        • SPIL is starting a series of downward continuation gaps, Webs. I agree, the 50DMA should be support but it might find support a little above that, around 6.10, a 50% retracement of the October - January climb.

Nothing wrong with that! If you're not having fun with what you're doing, why do it? OTOH, some people do this for a living or earn an income from trading the market, so they tend to look at it more impassionately.

I'm watching BTUI drop below the 50 MA, and am considering taking it long...

BTUI had a gap up in October. It could fill that gap at 12.42.

By the way...what the heck does "<g>" stand for? I'm not very good with abbreviations.

I was scanning some of Stecklers posts and noticed SILC. I like the chart on this one. Looking at the level two, it looks like a stalemate is going on with a spread of 7.40-7.55. I tried for 7.40, with no luck. I'll keep an eye on it. Maybe it'll start moving again on Tues.

I have to go take care of some things, so no more trading for the day.

Bought CDV @ 2.37. Looks like I could have got it a little lower, if I would have waited.

ELOS is looking good so far.
