I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. Let's see if we can make an ad appear... What keyword shall we use? hmmm....
In Pharmacology, all drugs have two names, a trade name and a generic name. For example, Tylenol also has the generic name of Acetaminophen. Aleve is also Naproxen. Amoxil is Amoxicillin and Advil is Ibuprofen.
The FDA has been looking for a generic name for Viagra. After careful consideration by a team of government experts, it's recently announced that it has settled on the generic name of Mycoxafloppin. Also considered were Mycoxafailin, Mydixadrupin, Mydixarizin, Dixafix, and of course Ibepokin.
Pfizer Corp. announced today that Viagra will soon be available in liquid form, and will be marketed by Pepsi Cola as a power beverage suitable for use as a mixer. It will now be possible for a man to literally pour himself a stiff one.
Obviously we can no longer call this a soft drink, and it gives new meaning to the namesof "cocktails," "highballs," and just a good old-fashioned "stiff drink".
Pepsi will market the new concoction by the name of: "Mount & Do".
Very very profound Dave. Excellent post. You will now be known as part of the Webs and Lyehopper crew with all rights and privileges that come with it.
We salute you.
Yesterday, I was up 7% for 2006. Today, I got nailed for 3%...I guess a 4% gain still isn't bad. It's time to go on the defensive side to protect the profits I have left.
Note to IIC - Be sure to check my figures dude. I'm not sure if my math is correct.
Ok, I'm out of all but ELN. I lost my 2006 profits, but I must protect my 2005 profits. This year will be good for me, but it'll take a little patience.
Reminds me of last year, when i got off to a bad start. I kept my cool and recovered. I was down for half the year, but I ended up with a 31.5% gain.
It's time to take a step back and re-evalute things. I wouldn't mind a bear market, if it would stay that way. I can make money by shorting as easily as going long. Which way will it go? I'd say a lot of it depends on oil and terrorism. Terrorism sucks.
