Jim Cramer's ELN
Originally posted by WebsmanI guess the answer was yes. Jim was right and I should have sold ELN. That sucks...
But I am not writing about Jim "Judas Goat" Cramer. Webs, do you remember I told you about BBW, how that 38% of its shares were short? Today, the reason came out:

The Yahoo boards can be quite entertaining. Below is a post about the reporter from the Boston Globe that wrote the false headline about Tysabri. This was posted on the BIIB board. I'm pissed, but I'm not as pissed as this guy...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Here is the likely story that will unfold over the next few weeks. Every so often, a smart reporter thinks he is bullet-proof and smarter than everyone else. He finds some information that can be twisted but still keep him out of lawsuits as a lie. He can take some journalistic license and use words that have multiple menaing sor can be misleading.
He knows what happened the last time similar bad news came out and he sees an opportunity to make some serious money, more than his meager salary as a writer for the Globe.
He then waits for the most opportune time to publish his story, say the day before the shareholders meeting of the "Deep Pockets" company in the partnership. Of course, prior to the publishing of the article, he finds some people that are not family and seemingly cannot be traced back to him to sell the stock short and take apprpriate options positions.
The stock drops as expected and he and his parners make the first wave of money. Then, just before the story unravels as supposition (not lies), he and his partners reverse their position and go long. He prints a strong apology that he erred and that he was only printing what he found. Of course, to maximize their gain, he has to write a strong story that he was wrong but not guilty of any lies. Just a reporter doing his best to get the news to the people.
Unfortunately for Krasner, he will get caught as most do but this will have little solace for those that got slaugheter along the way.
May he burn in hell!! "
