    Webs,
Congrats on those trades. Nicely positive average, even despite the evil in HISC
I commend you on your discipline with HISC. I would have certainly closed any long position on it, especially considering the action the last few days. It’s whispering lower, and it could be quite a drop too. .
But I’m curious why you closed EZEN and ACW. They are great looking charts, and I’m seeing more out of them. Oh….I just now see that your post is conflicting…..are those 2 open or closed? I hope open, since I like them both technically.
Also, if you’re basing your entries and exits on technicals, and you ever get the time, post a few charts!
    L8r dude.
EDIT: I see where I'm going astray; when you say closed, you're saying the closing price! lol OK. Out of those 4, I only like EZEN and ACW....the others you don't need to be in!

Spike, I think you may be right about HISC and I may just close it out tomorrow. I only had a couple hundred bucks in it, so it's no big deal.

I still like ELN and believe that it will go up, sometime next month.

ACW and EZEN are definitely good ones for me and I'll continue holding for bigger profits.

        The Vulcan one,

Well if HISC is only a small position and was always a gamble, then let it ride! After, all on a yearly chart, it looks like a huge bull flag!

ELN, here's the flip side to your optimism. I'm your tech conscious speaking lol but it's all in good fun, and as you know, I'll call it how I see it and not expect anything in return except an open mind

OK, do you see the 2 minute intraday SHS yesterday that targeted 7.80? That was the first problem (aside from gapping up to solid resistance). Just when you were feeling good about the prospects, your emotions of hope clouded your vision. I shorted it in the comp for good reason

Today, it had 2 attempts at double bottoms today, and was pitiful both times. The first one was early and volatile, and that should have been the place for it to rock and roll long, but it didn't. The 7.50 afternoon attempt was similiarly unimpressive, failing initially on light volume, then a couple hundred thousand shares bailed once 7.50 support left. The fact is, some serious money needs to step up to the plate and take out that 8.00 resistance with force before you can sleep safely at night that ELN will do you right. At the moment, it is just like every other stock that hits solid resistance; it sells. Take your profit, move on, and come back when it's looking rosey again.

        Best to ya.

Nope...I have a plan for ELN and I'm sticking to it.

I do have a sell point, however. You can't bet that I will not take a loss.

Webs, still got a copy of the letter?

Oh yea, I'll keep it in my file.

Have you read Poormans update yet? Apparently, he also received a nasty letter from IBD today...and he's one of their strongest supporters. You can bet that I won't be renewing my subscription to IBD.

Thanks. I'm not sure I'll want to hold through earnings.

Update on my present positions... 7/29/05

                    1. ELN - Bought at $6.88. Closing price today was $7.48

                    2. EZEN.OB - Bought at $1.95. Closing price today was $2.31

                    3. ACW - Bought at $10.50. Closing price today was $12.45

                    4. HISC.PK - Bought at .11 Closing price today was .082

HISC is not looking like a winner yet. good thing it's a small gamble and not a real investment.

EZEN and ACW are rocking! The markets might have been down but I still made money.

ELN held its ground today against the Bears. It hasn't hit my sell point yet, so I'm still in and waiting for the return of Tysabri.

VPHM has a very defined wedge going on and is screaming, "Buy me again Vulcan!".

I must place my order on Monday.

I have decided to continue to post on IBD, but I will refrain from telling the truth.

I had considered palcing a buy order for VPHM, until I noticed that tomorrow is earnings day for them. The report could be a great one and VPHM could shoot to the moon, but it could just as easily go the other way, therefore, I will wait and see what tomorrow brings.

I'd like to also give SIRI another day to see if it holds support, before I commiyt to it.

For now, I'll continue holding ACW, EZEN, ELN and HISC. Earnings is Wednesday for ACW, so I'll keep a close eye on it and will consider the possibility of selling if it starts down.

I was wondering... Since I received a warning letter from IBD, I wonder if Mr Market could also send me a warning letter of some kind. Surely, I've violated some kind of rule around here.
There was that one time when I pumped a penny stock...

Only a slight warning that you could be wasting your time over at the IBD forum when you could be spending that valuable time scanning for good setups or here involved in general stock chatter. There is alot of poison over there an it will eventually sneak into your body and mind an infect you by association with it. You must be very careful.

The Huge One doesn't waste his time with warning letters. My guess is he'll start out by placing your head into one of his 19" pythons, and squashing it like a zit. Once he's done doing that, he will then put you in the Figure Four leg lock until you beg for mercy and forgiveness

                                By now I'm so confused...I don't know what to say...So I blurt out..."Short FORD"!!!
