Update on my present positions... 9/20/05

    1. ELN - Bought at $6.88. Closing price today was $8.31

    2. PDC - Bought at $14.25. Closing price today was $17.25

    3. AOB - Bought at $4.15. Closing price today was $5.00

    4. ERS - Bought at $10.03. Closing price today was $10.11

News came out on ELN AH. Tomorrow will spell doom for the shorts.

I hit the low of the day with my limit order on ERS. Vulcan logic rules again!

Amazingly, I made money today, despite the market.

Will the market continue down tomorrow? Did Greenspan kill it? Stay tuned...

Your picks are holding up well Webs, a sign they are good ones.
Not sure about ERS though. Well done on picking the lod. That's worth a beer
But I wouldn't be surprised if there's not a 6% discount coming in the next few days. Hope I'm wrong Mr. Vulcan.

And if you can get ELN to beat that resistance overhead I'll be impressed

Thanks for the compliment Spike. You can bet that I will be setting a very tight stop on ERS.

Make that a very tight stop. Considering the weakness in the market, I won't let ERS drop too far back before I dump it.

If I were a vulcan I would tuck the stop right around 9.85

              Or 9.75 would work.

                            lol guys.

Sorry to see the drop for ERS webs. Nice channel long today with confirming inverted SHS and neckline break now, green light for long at 9.40. 2% risk under lod, to target +62% or 15.30. That's an insane r/r of 32.

                            Good luck.

And this is why I'd only give it 2% risk.

Well, my 9.75 stop on ERS got hit fast.

Now I'm back in at 9.37, but with fewer shares. If I get stopped out again tomorrow, I'm cashing out. As a matter of fact, if the market continues it's downward trend, I will start closing all of my long positions and will be looking to short into the markets weakness.

All of my positons closed in the red today, but it didn't really hurt me too bad. I'm still up for the year, and hope to stay that way.
