There was a time frame as well (4-6 weeks).

The stock bounced back off 50-day nicely this morning.

True but if I sell in 2 months, does that mean it wasn't a successful trade? To me it was.

It would be a successfull trade in 2 months. But, for me it wouldn't be in 2 years if you gain only 15%.

What remains unclear is why set the 4-6 time frame? Perhaps, 4 weeks to 2 months maximum?

I am not "setting" a time frame. On average, my picks reach that target within 4 to 6 weeks.

If my picks outperform the market, they are successful no matter how long I hold them. Even if they underperform the market, if my risk premium was lower (e.g. low P/E, high dividend, etc) I would consider it a successful pick.

It has been downward sliding ever since that Bearish engulfing(1st week of Feb) and the series of rises in relatively lower volume. It will probably stay this way for a while now that the 30day EMA is broken. I guess my real question would be, is there something we don't know about the stock?

CMN might be forming the third leg of an ascending base.

It happens after a strong move from a cup-with-handle. It forms three new highs and three lows, each low is higher than the previous low. A pattern like this:

                        Code:
                                   /
                                /\/
                             /\/ 3low
                          /\/ 2low
                         / 1low
                        /
CMN may be forming the last leg. It may be aiming for the 3rd high and 3rd higher low, after which a stock usually breaks out.
