I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Looks more and more like an ascending base. And it also looks that at least two of you want to sell it at or above 28. If it breaks out from that level after a new higher low then it has a potential to continue a strong move. Questions: Would you sell or continue holding in this case?
I hope we can get Spike's input, but this uptrend seems very predictable, almost a sine wave with an upward bias. The MM target (I think it's about 29 or so??) was just outside of the upper trend, and now CMN appears to be heading back down to support at 24-25. This would appear to be very "swing-tradeable". Even I'd have a hard time messing it up
If it does poke above the uptrend line, I wouldn't figure it to be there for long.

On the the MrMarkets picks I like to stay with the 15% sell order unless I am at home where I can watch the market. I try to let it ride in that case, but unless it gaps way up i wont make much more.
Anyway It appears to be going back down, I probably should sell and rebuy at the 50day but I gotta stick to my original plan for this trade.
CMN broke out of an ascending base on above average volume to hit a new 52-week high. Good opportunity to add shares, not sell. Considering your goals of 15-20% gain, selling a half of position would be a good option.
Some glitches in the newly formed base include: volume better be 50% above 50-day average vs. some 20% today (which is yet to see since the day is not over), last leg better corrected 10% vs. 8% it did.
On the positive note, the stock broke out with a gap, the length of the base is proper 11 weeks, 8 up days vs. 7 down days on above average volume in the base, base formed above 50-day average, prior uptrend was at least 30%, solid fundamentals (as MM noted), IBD's Relative strength line hit new highs. Intraday action shows a gap in the beginning with tight trading later on, which would mean accumulation during the day.
