I am not going to forgive the HOM @^#%..... here I thought I was doing great at finally picking a stock by the charts and they pull the rugg out from underneath me.......I have sooooooo much to learn. This time I did have a stop in place and came out oh so slightly ahead.

I sold HOM on Tuesday...not because I knew about the news...but because the technicals turned sour...Doug(IIC)

Are you saying the technical disintegration was totally independent of the share dilution announcement ? Was it just a coincidence these happened so close together? Can you tell us some specifics of the technicals going bad so we might know what to look for? Thanks.

Maybe too many people knew??? I didn't...but almost every indicator I watch was heading down in all different time frames starting with the end of the day Monday. Knowing how volatile this thing is I said to myself..."Why take a chance"?...That's about it...Doug(IIC)

Thanks for your offer. Perhaps I took your post all wrong. I appologoize for the name calling and harsh words on my part. That was rather childish and for that I feel foolish. I hope you will continue to enter the contest as you are already proving an asset to the bottom line.

My appologies to the team for my temperment. I sincerely feel fortunate to be in company with such fine traders and gentlemen you yourselves (karel included). As I continue to learn and grow as an investor, I only hope one day to be as big an asset to you fellas as you've already been to me.

It would be great to win again, but the odds are against me at this point. I'll have to dig deep into the Vulcan portion of my brain to come up with another winner.

The big problem for next week is the fact that the dow is sitting close to the 11,000 mark. Either it's going to bust through or it's going to hit resistance and drop back. I would tend to favor the it dropping back.

What we need here is Spike's superior chart reading skills. I might have the Vulcan logic, but Spike is the master when it comes to technical analysis.

Do we go long or short? That is the question of the day.
