IMCL Rides Again

Congratulations to Spikefader, Websman and Peanuts. Nicely done!

For this week: ImClone (IMCL) reports earnings Thursday morning. If they report the expected 43¢ per share, the P/E (based on the current price of 29.95) will drop from 11.3 to 10.22. Last quarter they beat the 45¢ consensus number by 20¢, and the stock price is still at about the same level as then, even though they recently reported positive results in the stage III clinical trial for use of Erbitux in 1st-line treatment of colorectal cancer. I'm not expecting anything resembling a bottle rocket, but the upside potential vs. downside risk at this point is ridiculously lop-sided in my opinion.

HRT was a solid pick, dude. I note this week it is on the Voodootrader Top 100 and just made my Spike's 8 List this weekend!

As for my own POTW picks lately (and Scuttlebutt picks too) I've just been selecting the best looking candidates from my list of 8, which is basically a trend-spotting method. It's found a couple of real gems lately, such as JST +56% in 13 days and FTGX +40% in 15 days.

And for this week's pick I'm going long PNCL.
