          Monday Exchange Closings coming up

          Lye,

Since the exchanges will be closed on Monday, December 26, and Monday, January 2, how will you run the POTW ?

          NYSE Holiday Schedule

          http://www.nyse.com/Frameset.html?displayPage=/about/1022963613686.html

The New York Stock Exchange is open from Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. ET and will observe the holidays below:

          2005

          Christmas

          December 26 (observed)

          2006

          New Year's Day

          January 2 (observed)

          New Year's Day 2006

New Year's Day 2006 falls on a Sunday. The Exchange will be open for trading on Friday, December 30, 2005, and will observe the New Year's holiday on Monday, January 2, 2006.

*Washington's Birthday was first declared a federal holiday by an 1879 act of Congress. The Monday Holiday Law, enacted in 1968, shifted the date of the commemoration of Washington's Birthday from February 22 to the third Monday in February, but neither that law nor any subsequent law changed the name of the holiday from Washington's Birthday to President's Day.

Although the third Monday in February has become popularly known as President's Day, the NYSE's designation of Washington's Birthday as an Exchange holiday (Rule 51) follows the form of the federal holiday outlined above (section 6103(a) of title 5 of the United States Code).

          Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

                        DMK,
Well it looks like you got that call right. I certainly didn't have any luck with this one. I bailed today at $29.52. I just didn't like the way it was going. Started off nice but didn't have the strength to hold any intraday levels from $30 to $29.50. To me that's a sign when it steps it's way down from level to level an it hasn't had the strengh to hold any of it's highs. Small loss from $29.70 entry. Did you see something else other than the resistance at around $29.90/30 range or were you just figuring that it didn't have the strength to break through that level and hold after failing a couple of previous times? Would be interested to know what prompted your feelings.

Lye, I would like to cover my short trade on NUTR and go long on FZN.

FZN will make me huge this week.

Mainly the fact that it was at that resistance and that the market was going sideways as well. Until the market breaks out of this 2-3 week range I think NTAP will stay there and if the market breaks down, it will go down with it (speaking short term here).
