I think I remember you saying that you use Ameritrade. Well you can plug the info into an Ameritrade watch list, and that will allow you to sort, but no "Notes" column.

Alternatively you could use Medved Quotetracker, which gives you the best of all worlds, though its feature-richness necessitates spending a bit of time to navigate the learning curve.

Oh yeah ... and many online portfolios (including Yahoo's) have a download spreadsheet button, allowing you to port the numbers right into a spreadsheet ... and then you could sort the data any which way you want.
Wherever he's getting his quotes from is being contradicted on a number of positions by Stockcharts.com. He has FORG closing at 1.7101 today and they have it at 1.72. It's no big deal but it could make a difference in a close call at the end of the week. Also why doesn't he come up with some order by either an ascending or descending sort rather than leaving it as a random placement. How much trouble could it be to arrange them in some order? Medved Quotetracker is free and in 30 min. could be set up.

Peanuts...you changed my opening to 23.01...it was actually 23.04. On Monday I noticed it then...Stockcharts had it at 23.04 and so did a few other places...nasdaq.com and Yahoo had it at 23.12 at first so I didn't bother to say anything because I seem to already be ticking people off lately.

However, I don't want you to give me an extra 3 cents either.

Anyway, I sold ATHR for a small gain today...Guess I shoulda sold it yesterday...Doug

Thaks again, Rob. It seems like I'll just use this, as it is the quick and easy for me.

The thing with Yahoo's exported Excel spreadsheet, is that it sends information you don't need and not the information that you do... I've been having troubles with it for some time now...

Maybe Google can beat them up on this playground, too...

    week 2, day 3

Out of corner 2 and starting down the backstretch, spike jostles past the leader, peanuts, who is on cruise control for the rest of the race, and now takes the lead by a nose. Rob is hot on their tails, and looks to be picking up some speed on the straight-away with Jeisen right on his side, and IIC on Jeisen's. It's gonna be a photo finish, folks!!! Anyone can win this!

    1= long
    -1= short

    Opening Prices

Hey, Peanuts, one thing I discovered about getting my prices from Yahoo is that their opening prices aren't always accurate on the up-front quote page but they seem to be always corrected by the time they go into the historical quotes page.

For example, I have the following opening prices for the following people, according to Yahoo's historical quotes. (I haven't cross-checked these anywhere yet.)

    Gary611 ..... CSCO ... 28.54
    IIC ......... ATHR ... 23.04
    Karel ....... PCCC ... 13.92
    RL .......... BBBY ... 39.95
    StkyTreat ... VCLK ... 23.52

You might want to check that out.

Well, the market didn't react to the IMCL news as energetically as I thought they would today ... but tomorrow's another day.

I always seem to underestimate just how much the street hates this company.

The heat in on! We're going to be coming out of corner 2 and entering the back stretch, and Rob is predicting a full 7 length lead to be overcome in just a short section of the track.

Does your horse have afterburners? Or did you feed it that good chili?

    (I'll be watching)

    New-Born Baby,

I'm sorry that I missed this post. I'll change the information and you will be entered into the contest for the week. I have you now for GLD long, Tuesday @ 9:45 ($60.55)

Get better, dude, and keep that crap in your state. We don't need a bunch of sick Pennsylvanians all driving to the drug store at once, now. Half the population is in their 80's, so if they're all out on the roads at once, my life will be at risk...
