I have 34 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Well in a nutshell, it was insider trading...... I was inside a bar & I traded slugs!!....don't forget, I'm a stooge!
This is my story & I'm stickin' to it.
Memorial Day Weekend, 2005
I was in a drinking establishment with my 2 boys (ages 29 & 31). Some asshole started something & got one of my sons into it, suckerpunched him. Me, completely sober (Designated Driver) defended him & by the time it was over ,was arrested. The final outcome was 30 days for dis con, reduced to 15 days & I have to do some community service. I really expected the worst in there; maybe my grey hair scared away the ass-rapers in the shower, but all in all, I did it ok. The fact that I blew a zero at the time of the crime saved me from a whole lotta shit, HEY, MY boy was in a jam & that was my story & I stuck to it.
Moral,, Become a lawyer, they never lose, I'm just about broke!!!!!
I'm taking it that you were the "last man standing". What happened to the perpurtrators? Did they get canned also? I don't mean literally although that would have been suitable punishment.

You really didn't have to answer me...But from your story I admire you FWIW...But, as far as lawyers...I consider myself an Un-prejudiced guy...I don't care what race, religion, sexual orientation people are as long as they are nice people...But Lawyers...They are the devil's creation IMO....Reminds me of when I took my Lawyer to arbitration back in the 80's...I won...But it cost me more in County fees to do so than I won...What kinda BS is that???
Too bad though...If you had been convicted for DOC in LA County I doubt that you'd have spent more than 2 days inside...They don't have room inside for such minor infractions.
Anyway, I'm glad to see you are OK...I actually was a bit worried for real...Best, Doug(IIC)
Glad to see you are outta the Slammer Gary...I was a bit worried...Hope it was something minor like INSIDER TRADING...Doug(IIC)

Had done reasonably well with CSCO last week. Was going to try to ride it again next week.
Then, in an unexpected lightning move, some Stooge came out of nowhere and swiped it right out from under my nose.
You sure got to keep your eye on those Stooges.
Will have to go with another choice.
Will take WITS long.
Doug, Use "an" instead of "and" only if "an" is followed by a word beginning in a vowel otherwise use "and" or "a" as is suitable and phonetically correct sounding for that circumstance. Doug I can see that you never attended Catholic school. One specific thing about the Catholic schooling that I can remember was that from around 5th grade the girls started taking an unusually higher degree of interest in playing doctor.
Well...I don't know about where you went to school but I remember back in the late 60's...there were several Catholic schools in my area that only went to 8th grade...The majority of the students that came over to our public school were put back a grade...I'm not kidding. Now, there were some Catholic High Schools...none near me...that were hard to get into and were known as great schools...But many of the K-8 schools were below par.
However, nowadays those same K-8 schools are hard to get into and are known as high achieving schools. Probably because the public schools went downhill...I don't know...Although back then I think that the teachers in Private schools did not have to meet certification standards like they do now...And IMO the certification standards are pretty darn low... even today.
