Be careful with Lye-baby, too. Isn't that a double barrelled shotgun in the pic? Maybe Lye REALLY was the one who shot the 78 year old lawyer, instead of Dick Chaney. Somebody rumored that that old lawyer had gone back into the car to take a hit off of Lye's goji juice bottle, and old Lye-baby blasted his hide with some bird shot. That's what I heard.

Maybe he thought they were Quayle hunting???

Anyway...There really is no source that can show every trade...Many times mine never appear...Once I ended up paying 8 cents higher than the "Official" high for the day on a stock...IIC

Think about it...Who deserves to be shot more than a lawyer???

Here's my raw data (backfilled) feed from Ameritrade if that helps.

Then prophet chart shows the same:

                BUT: this one shows 23.55:

Skiracer, I understand what you're saying. Check this out:
That 1st image above is Yahoo's report, and as Lyehopper correctly pointed out, that is the source from which this automated spreadsheet pulls its data. The 2nd one is from businessweek.com, and it's showing 23.60 as the open. That agrees with the Ameritrade Streamer chart, as shown in the 3rd image. It's interesting to me that your data is showing 23.75, because I recognize that Medved Quote Tracker software, and if I'm not mistaken, it pulls its data from Ameritrade too, doesn't it? If so, I wonder why there is a $0.15 difference. Nevertheless, can we settle on 23.60? Does that seem reasonable?

Lyehopper: yes I can configure the thing to grab data from another http site, but I'm not sure when I'll be able to get into it. Until then I'm afraid we're just going to have to keep pulling from Yahoo. I have other time-consuming commitments that mustn't be neglected. (BTW, by the time I got home tonight you must've already hit the sack, 'cause I couldn't find you.)

The IIC "Official" opening price for ADLR is 23.60...C'mon Spike...take it one step further...That page is not the "Official" Official...I learned that from CERS...Doug

You actually specify data sources for feed and backfill. For feed, there are about 8 dozen, for backfill there are about 3 dozen.

                          Rob,

Sure that's reasonable enough for me. The Time and Sales on Medved Quotetracker is showing $23.75 at 9:31 am. So that's not right on either. It could easily have been less at 9:30. 1 min. difference could definitely make a difference. No big one way or another. Thanks for taking a look at it. So that change should put me in first place huh?

Ski.... You'd make a great manufacturing manager. One of the best thing a manager can do is scan for mistakes and raise questions. I've uncovered a lot of mistakes (in the making) before they actually happened by simply questioning my people... a good manager can then evaluate (by the answers he gets) if his people are really trying and thinking.... or not.lol.... He can also evaluate by the response he gets who are team players and who are not.... and who he can use to deligate responsibilities to. I bet you do that on your construction projects.... don't you dude?

                                Lye,

I put everyone's feelings first before mine but not the job. I always end up with last place but I always get the job done with everyone happy at the finish. That makes me happy and coupled with the money makes my wife happy so then everyone is happy. I do keep an eye on and stay on top of thousands of things through the course of a project. It's what I do best. Thanks, I'll take your comments as a supreme compliment coming from someone who knows what it takes to get things done.
