I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. In fact I told one of the admins in the office today that "Movies are for people without real lives"...I don't know why, but nobody has ever appreciated that comment...
Wonder if that "admin" knows you are an admitted fan of "The Adventures of Ford Fairlane"?.... lol
CELL long! And congratulations to Mimo! Excellent score in a difficult week!
My Mechanical fund (+2.2%) trounced both the POTW (-1.1%) and the POTW+ (-2.3%)! Standings after week 2:
In points:
POTW: 3
MF: 2
POTW+: 1
In percentages:
MF: 2.6%
POTW: 1.7%
SPY: -0.5%
POTW+: -1.5%
The TOP10 for the POTW is changed biweekly, so the current 10, Lye, Gator, Karel, Pete H., Dakat, Jiessen, Gary, Micky, Spike, and TFred are responsible for the "K" factor this week. Sometimes I wonder why it is called the "K" factor, but perhaps Lye wants to keep something up his sleeve.

Great memory Lye...I also liked "That Thing You Do" "Animal House" and "Weekend At Bernie's"...BTW, my favorite TV show is "Leave It To Beaver"...That Mrs. Canfield could be my 1st grade teacher any time...Doug(IIC)
