Confusion
There's still a little confusion on locating shortable stocks. Spike gave me a link to Interactive Brokers (thanks, Spike) but I'm not sure I fully understand how to interpret the results provided there. For example, if you go to that link above and type NFLX in the search box, it seems to come up as shortable. But then if you click the link just underneath the results, the one that says "US stocks that are not shortable (Regulatory restrictions)" MFLX is also included on the list of unshortable stocks. Can someone demystify this a little? Thanks.—Rob

Thanks a LOT, Jiesen. Don't know what I'd do without your help.
Anyway, I think I got it figured out now. Evidently, even if there are some regulatory restrictions on certain securities, there may be extenuating circumstances that allow the stock to be shorted anyhow.—Rob

It is not right.

Week 25 (12), Day 4
NBB parlayed his PARL short into the catbird seat.
IIC put the iic-xing on the cake with his quick turnaround on XING.
Gator-dude's BRLI barely kept him in 3rd ahead of ...
Jiesen, who's amblin' with AMLN into 4th.
Karel's VOL has experienced some heavy duty volatility this week, having come back from, at one point, 10% in the hole intraday.
Dio got his teeth into DDS, and I'm climbing slowly but surely with IMCL.
Runner rumbles in on his Harley (HDI), Spike's Blue Phoenix (BPHX) phlies in close behind, and Curly nabbd a spot on the plus side with BBD.
That about covers the plus side for today, but I have just a couple other observations. The Stock Girl's STLD short is still dynamic as it picked up a bit of ground today, and meanwhile it looks like Webs pulled a boner with FONR. Alright, kids, get your minds out of the gutter, that means he made a mistake.
