I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Rob,
They just announced that PARL and PEIX are merging to form good smelling ethanol. The best part is you can short the stock or go long and make money either way.

Err, still confused. I was or was not allowed to switch? If not, I guess I'll just stay put.
Sorry, Bo, I thought it was clear. No, you were not allowed to switch, because at the time of your post New-born Baby was still short PARL. And like I said, your attempt to switch was thereby nullified, and your short position in ESCL remained.
Just for everyone's information, here's the deal: being the scorekeeper for this contest is not easy. It's difficult enough to keep up with it as it is, without starting to make provisions for: if thus-and-so happens, then I'm doing this or that. As long as I remain temporary scorekeeper, the lid on that can of worms shall remain tighter than a banjo string.

Well I've never gotten a whiff of ethanol, but I like the smell of gasoline. Has anyone here smelled ethanol? If so, how would you describe its smell? Billy, maybe it already smells better than P.H.

We have an ethanol plant just a mile from the church. Makes the entire town smell like a brewery. Don't you know what 'corn liquor' is? It's whiskey. Ethanol is pure whiskey. They add 5% gasoline to the product before loading it into railroad cars to keep people from drinking the stuff.

Do I know what corn liquor is? Dude, I have a jar of it in my kitchen. What I didn't know is what you said about its being the same stuff as ethanol.
BoSox's ESCL short escalated to new heights. Alice's NIHD short will not be de-NIHD (read "denied"). And Jiesen "xinged" into 3rd with a well-timed bail on his XING position. Congrats, all!
Jiesen,
You must be the U.S. ambassador for ZING . I predict if the market gains 100 points everyday from now until July 1st , we'll be in good shape.

nah, I just happened to be paying attention this morning when they announced 2005 guidance of $1+ EPS (first real profits ever for XING!).
Too bad I didn't act on this info with any real $$. But don't have the stomach for that right now...
