I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

What???...I'm in first place so there's no write-up today Rob???
I knew you were going to say something like that, Doug. Don't take it personally, there was no write-up yesterday either. Since I get very little feedback on it, I get the sense that it may be getting rather stale, so why go to the trouble? I think the 5-day charts add a nice little touch, though. Don't you?

Rockin'Rob.... I appreciate your commentary and HUGE effort here very much dude. I'm sure the other Members feel likewise but it is nice to hear some positive feedback sometimes ain't it?....

Thanks, Lye. I'll probably still try to ham it up a little now and then when I have time. I think the 5-day charts are more useful; they let you see what's really goin' on with these picks.
Rob, I enjoy your commentary. The tone on this forum has been somewhat stale as of late and I think many are simply just not bothering with posting. I’ve chilled out big time on my own thread and I was thinking the same thing as far as why bother with it. Could be the current uncertainty in the market?
Anyway you have really done a fine job with this POT of the week thing…
Rob...I for one look forward to reading your commentary every day whether I'm mentioned in it or not.
Well now that's downright nice of you to say that, Doug. My can opener's still got a decent edge on it, and I've got a pantry full of canned corn just waiting to be opened. There are some days though, when I've got several other irons in the fire, and the commentary isn't what I would like it to be.
That reminds me of a couple general announcements I need to make. This Friday the score will definitely be late getting up, because I'll be gone all day and part of the evening. (See? I told you I had a life, but you didn't believe me, did you?) Also, Tuesday, one week from today, is July 4th and the markets will be closed. Something to do with high taxes on tea I think. Anyway, all picks for next week still have to be posted here no later than 3:59 p.m. on Monday, the 3rd. No ifs, ands, or buts about it!

Where are you going on Friday?

Rob, quit joking around like this. People are gonna think you're serious. You know we're all laughing with you, bro. We all want to be part of your write-up. Even if we're dead last. Right, Webs? The 5 day charts- great idea. A lot of people don't go to the trouble of doing any research on the other picks, and those charts really help. I miss your stories of Billy Jack... the one about the way he fishes... good stuff

Rob:
Don't for a moment think that we do not look forward to your comments each day because I,for one, surely do. I also appreciate the effort that you put into making this a very interesting and entertaining thread.
I look forward to more witticisms when you are able to share them with us.
I'm going shopping for some camouflage and high-powered binoculars so I can hide in the trees with a notebook outside your office and take notes on your screening techniques. heh heh
Billy Jack doesn't pay taxes, because none of the IRS agents have the guts to knock on his door. They just go back to the office and say, "Uh, yeah ... all his stuff is in order. Yep."
