Week 38 (12), Final Results

A HUUUGE congratulations to the hustler, Van McCoy, a.k.a. Sticky, a.k.a. StkyTreat for his first gold medal performance in his sixteenth week of participation in the POTW!!! Way to go, Van!!!

Well look who came shooting up out of the morass of the middle all of a sudden! It's colossal Karel, gaining more than 9% on this final day of the week!! Awesome, Karel! Awesome!

The Ice Man did manage to retain the bronze position this week, despite all comers, and despite his little, ill-timed tango with NAPS. Do you folks realize this is the Ice Man's 8th medal in 14 weeks? Now you see why he's at the top of the cumulative totals in spite of the fact that in weeks 19, 23, 24, and 28 he lost 12.67%, 18.86%, 19.07%, and 14.54% respectively.

I would also like to point out that the active players scored a whopping 1.44% this week—the best score since week 22 when we turned in a 1.65%!

There is a reason for that...remember a conversation between me and Runner...or was it NBB???...Think it was Runner...We had both said that on weeks that we knew we had little chance to win that we just forgot about the contest and let our losing pix slide...After that I decided to take the contest a little more seriously and look for the longer range even if I'm not gonna win that week...Heck...I wanna beat Ray's butt this year...Doug(IIC)
