Have it your way, Ice, but as it stands right now, Biff Clemens has pulled into the lead.

        Week 32 (6), Day 3

Once again it's the mighty Ice Man ... Ice Man ... Ice Man ... is there an ECHO in here? Biff Clemens proves that if you pick the right stock (in this case CTCM) this contest is a walk in the "park." (I think that's Gorky Park.) And Van "Do the Hustle" McCoy got ahold of a real WNR (read: "winner").

Yeah! And in real life I lost a cool $8k on this dog as I sold it today. ARGGGGGG! I'm just happy it wasn't $80k.... Well, I only have myself to blame. Now this is a case where too much DD and research actually hurt me.... I liked the freakin' business model so much (and the growth trend) that I ignored several red flags (five off the top of my head) that were screaming at me to back off the trade.... In my mind I justified each of the negatives.... And I stayed in the trade despite questioning myself several times about holding thru earnings.

                  Five Red Flags I Ignored:

                  (1) Short interest increasing month over month.
                  (2) Recent heavy insider selling.
                  (3) The chart turned bearish as the inverted SHS failed on Monday.
                  (4) Earnings report was postponed by four days.
                  (5) The stock drifted downward all four days up to the report.

STUPID, STUPID, STUPID!!!!.... Will I EVER learn?!!!! Sure I will!.... jejeje

I feel for 'ya Lye...I made a ton of mistakes on WITS...I just didn't listen...But the biggest mistake was that I knew in my gut I shoulda trimmed around 25...Well...life goes on...There's always tomorrow...No Problem...The day I let a mistake get under my skin is the day I quit...Doubt that'll ever happen...Best, Doug(IIC)

I hear ya Doug.... I just dust off my trousers and go at it again.

I'm a risk taker by nature.... That's one reason I have had success in business I guess. The market is different though.... I have a measure of control in directing my own business'.... but I have absolutely no control over another Corporation's management or how they will pilot their ship.....

Note to Lyehopper: Repeat this a thousand times!… "When buying stocks, I must learn to live [and die] by my rules.... And if my gut says run.... Then RUN!

                                It's true! Here's the paragraph:

“Nevertheless, seizing on the recent vogue for exotic ‘fruitaceuticals’ like noni, goji, and acai, mangosteen beverage sellers have flourished, particularly XanGo, a private company that says it has 600 employees, and 500,000 independent distributors worldwide.”
