I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Ray,
It's just not fair. You're drinking beer and counting your money and throw the dart when you feel like it while we're reading columns of numbers , studying graphs , and taking notes from balance sheets , listening to conference calls , reading books to better ourselves. What's your secret ?
Billy my secret Is that I have no secret.Just know It works for me, If I knew I would let everyone on this board know.So thanks to everyone for thier acolades.Rob glad to see you win again you told us to buy EBAY.[Just got to thinking glad I was unable to beat you out, would have been the most disliked person on the sight] Hope everyone has a great day.Got to get to work setting up the dart board and enjoying a few cold ones.
EBAY is still alive and kickin' ain't it Rob? Nice play!
Peanuts and Ray Loooooooong.... Great job dudes! And congrats to all finishing green.
And I also have to mention that it's nice to see my fellow VTP Inner-Circle member with a nice gain this week! Watch out fellas, there are less than five months left in the year and Webs has some ground to make up....
. . . glad I was unable to beat you out, would have been the most disliked person on the sight
Not by me. I don't have a problem with losing a contest that's fair and square. Now if I lost out to a penny stock with an avg. volume of 5 or 10 thousand shares a day, I might feel a little put out or "slighted" or whatever, but I surely wouldn't "dislike" anyone over it.
Congratulations, Rob! And Peanuts and Ray too, of course. This was a photo finish!
I'll stay long VOL, and so does my Mechanical Fund. This week the fund beat both the POTW and the POTW+, so the numbers are again coming together, 20 for my fund, and 22 for both the POTW (all players) and the POTW+ (the Top Ten). Thanks to Jiesen we have new Top Ten: RL, Diogenes, IIC, Gatorman, Rob, Micky, Quasi-Ernie, Spike, Scifos, and StkyT. DMK, Gary, Geri, and Mimo went, RL, IIC, Micky and Quasi-Ernie(!) are new.
Regards,
Karel

Congrats on making the top 10 cut, Stky. That's quite an accomplishment!
