I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Register for free and you'll be able to post messages on this forum and also receive emails when $$$ MR. MARKET $$$ makes his own trades. ($$$MR. MARKET$$$ is a proprietary investor and does not provide individual financial advice. The stocks mentioned on this forum do not represent individual buy or sell recommendations and should not be viewed as such. Individual investors should consider speaking with a professional investment adviser before making any investment decisions.)

Your request implies the covering of your short EBAY position. Therefore your EBAY short was covered at 1:09 for 25.78; however the rules state that you cannot short STLD, as Billyjoe already holds that position. Sorry. Please make another selection, or else ride $$$ for the remainder of the week.
i will have to read them...i thought it was a free for all ..one wild jungle baby!!!! LOL Im still not giving up on my nvec short LOL down boy down!!!!
I use the Ameritrade feed. Why? Is there a problem?
Hi Rob
No problems at all, you are doing a great job. I was thinking of creating an Excel spreadsheet and was just to where I can get info. Thanks...oh does it cost money to use Ameritrade feed?
You have to have an account with them, with a nominal minimum balance, the amount of which I'm unsure. Probably 2 grand or something like that. Check their terms at http://www.ameritrade.com.
Short of that, you can use http://www.businessweek.com. They keep a log of all the trades throughout the day at about 90-sec. intervals on any given stock. You may not get precisely the exact same number doing it that way, but 99 times out of 100 it should at least get you pretty close.

Rob,
I didn't know I shorted EBAY. Post #7801 I asked to be in cash, and then I made a comment to you, (post #7809), in response to your post, that in real life I am short EBAY. I did not use any green arrow to signify that I wanted to buy EBAY, and in the post I did not ask you to buy it for POTW. I apologize for the confusion. I really am sorry. I know you work hard to run POTW, and every single person on MM is grateful for all that you do.
Thank you for being understanding about that, NBB. I appreciate it. I feel it is very important to keep this contest very firmly and tightly guarded. If I started allowing a little slack here and there, it would invite a whole world of trouble. Imagine how you might feel if I let someone off the hook for something but not you. Or vice-versa for the other person. I'd much rather not even start down that road.
