Well, Ski, EBAY did better today than the POTW score would indicate. Even though I got burned in the contest by EBAY's 2.69% gap up at the open, still it finished 1.94% better than Friday's close. So I'm not complaining.

Too bad nobody took PARL this week. It was up more than 15% from the open this morning and more than 16% from Friday's close, this on more than double avg. volume. Hmmmmmm

PARL: I had completely obliterated that piece of junk from off of my screen.

EBAY making a 19 cent move up this morning.

                Rob,
Hope you saw the post where out of the goodness of my heart I gave New-born his STLD short. It was very early yesterday morning . You were probably sleeping and missed it. I couldn't sleep with all the guilt etc.

Actually, I don't think I am in any POTW right now, so I feel pretty good. EBAY paid me yesterday, and today I am out the door, so I feel great

Billy, such an overflowing display of the milk of human kindness touches me so deeply that I'm of a mind to let Spikefader also have that EBAY short he wanted. But ... then, alas, nobody would be able to count on the rules any more. Darn it. So I guess things must remain as they are.

                      Rob,
Sorry I found the post. The dog chewed it up before I could send it through the internet waves or whatever they are. New-born , I gave it to you before today's run up and you still don't want it ?

Look, Billy: things are so bad over on my end that I even had to cover my EBAY short today in real life. So please, keep your STLD and keep your milky, human kindness.

                          Not A Buy Or Sell

NOTICE: THIS POST IS NOT A BUY OR SELL. IT IS A COMMENT.

                          Robert,
looks like your EBAY persistance is just beginning to pay off. I think I will concede: EBAY is now looking bullish. Congrats!

Well I hope so, NBB. It may still struggle short-term, but I, in agreement with Dr. Jack, just thought the recent sell-off was too much. I figured it was one of those times when the market was dropping a gift in my lap. I have no idea how long it'll take to get back to the 40s, but I have little doubt it is going there. And, by the way, the proverbial "fat lady" has yet to sing.

                                New-born,
Sorry the market is treating you badly. Have you ever seen so many potential shorts stop on a dime and head up ? It's weird , but really I hate to see anyone here do badly. We've got to believe good times are just around the corner.
