  • I think Jiesen may have gotten into a bit of a bind.
Instead of the ibd 100 number 1 jinx, the new one going around is Cramer pumps. He had nice things to say about AMLN last night, and that is when a few people always talk about fading his picks.
I thought it would have been close to 20 today.
BJ coulda shoulda woulda cept for that icky downgrade on SSNC, maybe it can bounce a bit and ERS can take care of the rest.

    • Coulda, woulda shoulda, yes, but, I think that, even without SSNC, I'm still no better than third with $11,256. Face it, Jiesen and Drutzen are on fire.

Well it looks like AMLN has pulled ahead of VPHM, with an 18% gain in 3 days vs 10% for VPHM. (I am huge, btw.)

Only ERS seems to be giving AMLN any real competition-

-too bad SSNC is holding you down, BJ. I agree that SSNC should be huge, too, the market just doesn't see it that way........yet.

AMLN is on a roll. There's no stopping it. Every diabetic will want to use Byetta once they see their other diabetic friends using it and eating cherry pie.... and losing weight. Anyone who bought AMLN on my rec Monday can send meats and cheeses my way c/o jiesentakesovertheworld.com.

Will VPHM come roaring back in the end? Will SSNC get a buy-out offer and hit the magic 15% mark again? Who will get the elusive 4th POTW prize, me or Dru? or you, you, or YOU? Anything can happen, and I guess we'll see Friday!

That's OK Jiesen. Once it got over 31 (average purchase), I was certain it cleared overhead, but that downgrade changed the complexion a bit. Could have gotten away with holding, but I think it will ultimately retest the 28 range, maybe the 50 DMA at about 27, then I'll pounce again. Like before, though, it won't be there long. It probably needed a break.

Jiesen is still rockin with AMLN and it still has a nice look to it.

                  • It looks like VPHM bounced off the 9dma nicely today so I am not giving up, except my best guess is only a tiny bit higher tomorrow with some consoldation and then Mon. or Tues it will be ready again.

well, it looks to me like I have this one wrapped up. I'll put in a stop at 20 just to be sure.

                        • Congrats Jiesen, very nice pick.
It came down to the wire for second place, with a bit more mo, Webs ENTU was looking like it wanted to make the run for the win. BJ's SSNC didn't help, but ERS came through and would have had Jiesen sweating bullets at the end if it was a single pick. I don't think Jiesen would have put in the stop if ERS was a single pick either.
All in all, a very nice week, with some very good picks.
