        Ray's Darts

Don't forget, Lyehopper, it was one o' Ray's darts I borrowed that I slung at the board and hit VECO. No offense, Ray, but I don't want to throw any of your darts any more. LOL

Yeah, that's it ... that's the ticket! That bad pick of mine was Ray's fault! LOL

Check it out, dude. That ain't no long-sleeve shirt. Them are TATS! lol I thought you'd know who that is. (That's not a faked photo, BTW, and Mrs. Rob is the one who took it.) Hint: she's an awesome vocalist whose show I happened to catch at the Trax club in Charlottesville in '99. That's where that pic was made.

I attribute it to a severe lack of fertilizer!

I've spent a little time trying to figure out how to get that backfill feature of the Medved software to work. I see that most of the services, including prophet, require a subscription or a registration. The only company I have an account with for now is Ameritrade. According to the help screens on Medved, if you set the backfill source to default, it will automatically use the company you've specified for streaming info., but I haven't been able to get it working. I select the backfill tool on a certain issue, and a little yellow box pops up telling me it's backfilling, but it never does. I let it run in the background about twenty minutes yesterday, and it still never did anything. Any idea what I'm missing? Thanks.
Rob, did you try specifying "Ameritrade" as backfill too (rather than just 'default')? Also check 'auto backfill.." boxes.

Other than that, dunno what the problem is. Shoot off an email to them or go to their discussion forum and post a question. Their support is fast.

Rob I know what happened you stole the wrong dart therefore leaving me the wrong dart so you caused all this trouble now you want to blame It on me when It was all your fault, If you would have asked me I would have given you a dart and would not have thrown the wrong dart and then I would not have Lye telling me my darts are all screwed up and causing me to start drinking beer to early In the day and hearing the wrong thing about stocks and causing me to throw the wrong darts at the wrong stocks when you throw the wrong darts or throw them at the wrong stocks these things happen, now In the future just ask me for a dart.Anyway you are the cause of this whole disaster and Ski told me not to get mixed up with Lye,s juice but I would like to try It and see If I then could throw the dart better when someone steals the right dart and causes me to throw the wrong dart. Where Is Billy Joe when I need him?

                      It's Working

Thank you, Spike. I figured it out. I was missing the amstr.bfl file in the installation directory. It's working like a charm now.

                        OK Ray

Okay, Ray. I'll take your word for it that it was in reality all my fault. <rolls eyes> Next time I want to throw one of your darts, I'll be sure to ask you. But what if you're not around and I'm needin' to throw one right quick?

CFK rates a "942.88" on the VTP scale, HUUUUGE!!!!.... A sure winner!
Lye, I'm afraid we both screwed up on that one. CFK is rated a 249.88...not a 942.88. I have to apologize for my error, but when I accidentally put the wrong vectors into the scanner.

I'll take another look at the situation and may post a new pick tonight. It's not too late to recover from this fiasco...
