    _ Parl _

Now I see PARL is getting creamed on a news release that to me looks kind of positive. Tempted to buy, but may have to be content to just kick myself later for not doing so.

$19 target. Wait until PARL gets gunned down.

Nice 2.5% risk long entry here, with stop under low of day. I'd do it except I'm bearish on PARL. jeje

          Doh!

Every time it jumps above 27, I say, "Doh! I missed my perfect opportunity!" Then it comes back down, and I'm still chicken to pull the trigger. I just haven't studied this company sufficiently to take a flyer like that on such short notice.

Edit: ... besides, less than 5 days ago it was < 25.

This stock will drive you mad!....Ahhhhhhh! PARL's a money making machine but the short hedge funds own it right now.

Let it settle down and let the traders get bored with it and then sneak in and grab some.... btw.... I'm still holding a half position.

Spike & NBB post us a chart here (or on my thread) please and let us see what you two see. I asked our new friend EMphase for a chart on PARL but I think he wanted to see what would happen and then post a chart after the fact.jejeje

                Lye,
You already know that I don't like this stock long right now. I have badgered you for about 3 weeks on this one, to the point of making myself obnoxious. But if you are a glutton for punishment . . . .

                1. PnF says $19.
                2. FIB retracements says . . . . $19.
                3. Today's bearish $3.30 drop says that you have at least another drop of $3.30 coming (Dow Theory). Sure, that's more than $19, but it is the '1st target' of this bear call, and coincides beautifully with the next support at $22.50.
                4. Short interest is high on this one--that means there are a lot of people who don't like it long right here
                5. The weekly shows that the uptrend started to lose the momo last May '05, and the uptrend when completely busto March 1 of this year.

Now, who wants Paris' stinkin' perfume long, right here?

                    lol Lye. jejeje

OK, I'll throw a chart on your thread later.

But not much has changed from the last several charts I posted in your thread. I recall saying under 28.00 and it's in trouble. Well it broke 28.00 and that recent strength was something to be selling into imho. Same SHS breakdown, major reg channel bust, and broadening triangle breakdown. And recall those EFA:PARL and PARL:EFA ratio charts. They are tracking according to plan too I note. Have another look at the PARL:EFA one. Shows the diamond top, the broadening bearish triangle, and the symm triangle breakdown. That stuff is pretty left field, but still pretty cool. I am very bullish on EFA, and when I use a strong chart like that one versus PARL's it seems to leverage the difference and highlight the weakness for the weaker chart, and potential for the stronger one....

Yup. With ya; with ya A close below 19.20 would be a very bearish thing and put it in running for the Burnt Toast Award.

Looking at the chart, Lye, it would appear PARL's latest base is a "late-stage base" in IBD-speak. But looking at the fundamentals, I have to agree with stenzrob in that this sell-off is just goofy. Still tempted to buy, but am holding off for more clarity.
