The last thing I would want to do is to beat you on the opening price, so I know that Peanuts will be getting the time of sale price for Doug's trade but just to make sure, and I'm in no way not trusting Peanuts pricing, but if someone else wants to verify or dispute the pricings as they are posted please feel free to post your concerns with the substantiating proof. I only want the fairest and best for everyone the same way.

          WooHoo!! Look at me go!

However, I do know that the stock market tends to be fickle at times. Since the company I picked works with stem cell research, I think the results of today's elections will have an effect on the price of VIAC stock. We'll see. If I wanted to sell this stock during the game, would I be allowed to say at some point to sell it and buy [whatever my next pick is]?

Yes. Just say, "Sell my VIAC." And when you are ready for the next pick,
            say, "BUY/Short this symbol." Easy.

              Mary,
All you have to do is to post that you want to exit or sell VIAC and enter something else of your choice either long or short. You get the price at the time of your post for the sell order and the buy order. You get two round trips. Your first entry and sell and the second entry and sell. Or you could exit VIAC and stay in cash for the rest of the week or until you find something you like.

                  Mary,
I would like to see a picture of you and Rob at an early age. I have one of my sister, she's three years younger, and I when I was about 7/8 and she was about 4/5. I'll have to dig it out and post it. Maybe over on the "off topic thread".

                    Sorry guys,

I've got a bunch of things gong on today, tomorrow, and Thursday. I will be at my computer tonight, but I do not know when. If someone hasn't posted the prices for the trades today by the time I get to my computer, then I will post them myself. But I'm not guaranteeing the time each night

I thought it was a cute write-up and then no cigar. That took place in the copy and paste phase of moving your row and a bottle of Cab and some Granmarnier. I typed that 0.00 in myself and didn't realize I made the error. The rest of the scores got take care of through Rob's program. It's a wonder that I didn't make more as it was pretty late and I was under the influence.
SssSss....no problemo.....and I'm sorry that was yer last bottle of that particular year and grape. You definately write well under the influence of it

That year Caymus Special Selection was bought for around 15/20 a bottle in 1989 - 1992 range of years. I had several cases of it and it was good back then. That last bottle was at least 20 years old and was very very good. But that's the end of the Caymus. I have some Heitz's "Martha's Vineyard" from 1985 and 1986 that is a classic California Cabernet that was probably 40/50 a bottle when the Caymus 1985 Caymus was 15/20 in 1989 or so. I bet you couldn't touch the 85 or 86 Caymus Special Selection, if you could find it available, for under 400 a bottle right now. I sold one to a friend about 2 years ago for 250. The Heitz's are very rare ones, especially those years and were very highly rated and would easily fetch over 400/500 a bottle for those years if you could find them. Each of those two vineyards had wines of the year internationally those years and had respective 100 point rankings for their top Cabernets, which is rare.
I picked those bottles up when the craze wasn't as driven by the yuppie generation and the subsequent escalation of prices they brought on with the substantial increase in demand.
The supplies are limited and what was once a somewhat kind of expensive hobby has now become almost priced out of doing anymore because the demand is so high for the best vineyards bottlings that they don't even sell to distributors for liquor stores anymore. They have people who take it all before it gets bottled and then they do what they want to do with it.

I would gladly accept the prices for any intraday action by anyone that can post the realtime "time of sale" prices for me the earlier the better. If not then Peanuts will get them whenever he can and I'll be happy for that. Thanks Peanuts.

                                trade and time

                                Ski,

sorry for the delay... stupid regular job... I'm not going to last much longer...

                                IIC, OMRI, 9:53 am, $22.2101
                                RL, AXTI, market open, $4.92

Tomorrow, I will be in meetings until late in the night
Thursday, I will be delivering people to their proper destinations at the proper time, and then I'm going to a 50 person free happy hour that my co-worker won thru the radio today
Friday, I will have an early morning meeting and then conferencing until the evening, then entertaining foreign guests throughout the night
                                Saturday, I sleep

In a way, it's probably good for me to get away from the market for a little while, but I am learning what my true passion in life really is while enduring this week of "real" work...
