I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. Ski, this is my glance @ the charts. I wont bore anyone with the charts. I did not look over the weekly charts though.
USA=Bull as long as 41.60 holds
DE=Bull as long as 64.74 holds
DNR=Bear until MSL is in place and confirmed
AFFX=possible short term Bear if today’s action is a MSH
BNI=Bull reversal off 45.97, but EMA’s need to cross North.
FDX=Bull off 79.55 up to about 84-84, volume increasing
KSS=Bull as long as 55.44 holds. Today suggests possible Bear foot hold. May have completed B wave up and now down to C
CRDN has more risk than I'd care to take for a swing right now. However it may set up for a D/T. Volume was awesome today, but it could not hold. P/B may be in the very near future.

Runner,
I fully expect a 50% pullback Thursday. That's the place to buy it.
Runner,
I'd be looking to enter at $22 or $22.50. I think she'll pullback that far either Thursday or Friday. Those rocket attacks can't walk on air for very long. It seems to me that most two day rocket shots pull back to one half of the flagpole, and then they begin to move upwards.
That flagpole ought to have a lot of gas left in it. Of course, the market may affect things, esp. if Spike is right and we have a bear market for several weeks to come.
Ordinarily, that flagpole ought to be worth another $5 move in the stock, esp. on such a rocket move. Or it could form an island reversal!
I have to agree with spike from doing my research on the Market. Holding longs could prove painful in the near future, but many experts are Bullish. I normally study and come up with my own conclusions. I feel if I can figure things out it will only make me a better student. Sure I open myself up for others to think how crazy my take on things are but who cares. Not afraid to mess up and then mess up again!!
I picked up some breaking news this morning on Briefing.com about CRDN being awarded a 75 million + contract to supply some type of body armor to the Army. The time frame for the contracted goods to be delivered is between Sept. 2005 to Jan. 2006 which is pretty soon. I got busy this morning an it escaped my mind so I missed the play. I'll be keeping an eye on it for a P/B an an entry maybe. So I like it long.
These are all on my watchlist which changes daily. But here's how I like them to go:
USG/bearish; DE/bearish; DNR/bullish; AFFX/bullish; BNI/bullish; FDX/bearish; KSS/bullish.
I picked some of these up from my own screens, from Morpheustradinggroup.com, and Briefing.com's swing trader. Interesting to see the different interpretations of the charts.
Nice posts! I"ve been away from my computer all day the last two days, and will likely miss some action for a few more days. The best I could do today was call home on the cell phone and ask my twelve year old how the market was doing, and have her try to make a buy for me. Didn't get the job done, though, when a neighbor called and talked on the phone to my wife for the last hour of trading. UGH!
