I have 22 consecutive profitable trades of 15% or better. How is this possible? Every day there are hundreds of stocks setting new highs, no matter what happens in the overall market. Many of these stocks are still at very reasonable valuations. Afraid of buying stocks at their highs? Think of it this way: a new high is really a future floor for companies with solid financial underpinnings. Quantitative momentum modeling makes it easy to identify stocks that can continue this upward momentum trend. Why does this happen? It's really very simple..ask me about what investors and cows have in common. I am $$$ MR. MARKET $$$. I AM HUGE!!! Bring me your finest meats and cheeses. You can join in on the fun. What do you think about ARAY, seems to be in a uptrend move right now
the daily chart showed a head and shoulders pattern which is generally bearish but when they dont break thru that neckline to the downside thats kind of saying that maybe it isn't a bearish chart afterall. looking at the weekly and the monthly i see a different situation which technically speaking is presenting a nice setup for a trade to the long side. i tried to find some fundamental info but didnt have any luck with that so i can't really say unequivically that i believe the stock will continue to move up and make the right side of it's cup base. but i am a betting guy and my bet would be that it does. here are the daily, weekly, and monthly charts on ARAY. i like the charts a whole lot and will be looking to make an entry tomorrow if the wind is blowing in the right direction.
thank you for the insightful analysis, I saw this stock today when it was around $6.20. Wouldnt it nice if I bought at that price? Hehe.
well missing a few cents exhibiting patience while you wait for that confirmation that gives you that warm fuzzy feeling about the play will never hurt you wooish. i think it is a great find and is ready for and entry right here at 6.50. for me anyway. tomorrow i will be watching it closely for an entry and it the markets cooperate, which i have no idea if they will or wont, i will make the trade. if the markets pullback because it's friday and they need some pause because of the recent gains then and the stock pulls back some with the markets then it will provide an even better entry at a lower price. the fact remains that this is a nice stock and that right here it is not to late in any sense of the word. i would go for it but watch it because there is the distinct possibility we may get a chance at getting it cheaper next week. great find wooish and good luck with it.
I started a position in ARAY @6.30. Will buy more if it drops further next week. Good luck.
nice play wooish. i like people who dont procrastinate and beleive in what they are doing and then do it. i'll be in there myself shortly. just watching right now. good luck with it.
i just exited ALLI @ 6.52 for +.52. just a gut feeling about the trade and it seemed to me to be stalling on low volume the last couple of days which made me feel there was a lack of interest in the stock. fridays in the summertime all the wall street types are only concerned on getting out of their positions with their gains and taking off out to the hamptons for as long a weekend as they can get. this is not a condemnation of the stock at all. i still like the stock but see a drop coming today of lack of interest. i may be wrong. i would re-enter in a heartbeat and will be keeping an eye on it.
thanks wooish, informative article. i like the stock and am thinking of buying more before the close. should have grabbed it when it was down to 6.20. i just sat there and watched it.
LOL. I was gonna buy at 6.20 and then I was called for a short meeting. After I came back in 10min it's gone up to this level. WTF? oh well only holding 1k share now. I'm saving my cash for a big buy next week on ZAGG if it dips back to 5.8

there are a number of issues that i have with the stock wooish. the relative strength has dropped dramatically over the past few months. its last qtr. over same qtr. 08 eps is -.23. all the moving averages are reversed from what i like to see. and the stock is reporting eps this coming thursday 7/23. that insider buying were all grants to its officers and people on the board. they get them for nothing or real real cheap and the minute they can they sell them off for profit. im not in love with the stock at all. heres a chart of the weekly. good luck if you decide to go with it.
Are you still holding HRBN? I was listening to your thoughts before and I did wait for a pullback. It's currently at $18.25 which gives me a 25% gain. By looking at the chart, what would be a new target sell price?
Best Regards,
Joe
