Hov
Ski,
I took the rest of my profit today. I read somewhere that when you hit 30 days for options, you might see the time decay kick in. I had bought May $5 calls. Anyway, the bottom line was a 614% return after commissions in 5 weeks. Thank you for bringing that one!!!! Do you still think it will hit $11 or $12? August calls for $10 are cheap right now.Best,
Steel

Klic
Ski,
What do you think about KLIC? I looked at the 2 year chart and it looks like the 100 day MA crossed over the 200 a little while back and the 30 day crossing over the 100 back in Feb. Then it had the ridiculous volume a couple of weeks ago. What would be the next level of resistance? Just trying to get a feel on where this one is headed. Thanks.Best,
Steel

todays pullback in the markets is going to provide a great buying opportunity in HOV. it closed back under yesterdays open price of $7.14. it closed today at $6.98 or 1.01 pts down from yesterdays close. yesterday was a big up day for HOV. im still holding the trade from $4.75 and gave back $1.01 today. i think it goes over $10-11 range. Steelman mentioned the Aug 10 calls which were up .60 or so yesterday and today gave all that back. at .95 bid / 1.05 asked it seems like a good entry for that call. i like the stock price right here at $6.98 tomorrow if the market cooperates which is strictly conjecture right now. there are to many negative issues out there right now with Greece, the European community and Euro, and our own earnings reports. i am looking for an entry into the Aug 10 call options tomorrow but patience may pay off in providing a cheaper price which would be icing on the cake.THE SKIRACER'S EDGE: MAKE THE EDGE IN YOUR FAVOR

I am afraid this Greece thing might get contagious...Spain might be next. Having said all that, I love the homebuilders here. Did I ever tell you I was in the Armenian Students club at Penn with Hovnanian's daughter?=============================

Nyb
Billy & Ski, now this is a "small small world" scenario.
So I went by one of my banks the other day (the one where I have my safe deposit box) and noticed their name was changed to NY City oops, "community" Bank. Imagine my surprise! It used to be Ohio Savings, then AmTrust, now NYB! And, thanks to Ski bringing it here quite a while ago, it resides in my IRA and maybe Ohio billyjoe's too. Did you already know that billy? Nice surprise to me, considering it's still in the green by a little bit after being up about 15%.Last edited by riverbabe; 05-05-2010, 04:51 PM.

------------billyHah, does that mean you are nearly 59-1/2 and "can" or are nearly 70-1/2 and "have to." Never mind, I know the answer.

In my younger days I got carded all the time when I was way over 18 then 21. Now they give me the senior discount without even asking....how depressing.
